why is https://guldencoin.com/ off line ? do "re-directs" http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/guldencoin/

especially now that investors are "eyeing" the coin

Website is changed in www.gulden.com.
Change has to be added to coinmarketcap indeed. @Waterloo you can contact them maybe?

Cheers q327K091!!!

(I'll just ignore 'het kibbelen' then it'll just pass over, like a typically Dutch rainshower).

zero worries have to go now.. but not a surprise here.. and even if it swings up and down continue the work.. it is not worth to take profits down even at multi $ thousand level,.. FIAT in general is going down , you are going up.. use premine wisely please allocate prooobably to improving software and enlarging retail presence.. POS (point of sales systems) integration etc.. which will happen sooner rather than later

thats all from me for now

There are people who actually want NLG to be more than what it is now, they don't want to take 10 years for it to get somewhere. They want to do it in 3-4 years. They offer help, resources and connections.... yet the dev team decides to do everything by themselves without communicating to those people. They are ignored. From a dev team that claims to be listening to the community. LTEX is one of those people. He doesn't ask for anything except some cooperation/support from the dev team regarding some matters. Seems reasonable to me, but I guess that is too much to be asked.

Example: We have 3 Subways accepting NLG. LTEX arranged a phone list with all other Subways in the Netherlands that he can call, but he needs qualified people to answer possible questions from the franchise holders or at least have a line where he can relay questions or help with implementation for those Subways to accept NLG. He is still waiting for months for an answer regarding this from the dev team.

And that is the most cliché picture about the Netherlands. There is so much more beyond Amsterdam. Wink

In my opinion LTEX is an extremely valueble asset for the Gulden project and his ambition is very contagious, however I presume the Gulden devs want to consolidate the basics of the project before steps are being taken towards mass-adoption, which honestly is not such a bad attitude, the fundamentals first, then other projects can be built on top of it.  Wink

Someday the team and LTEX go through one door. It's a matter of trust from both sides to give control about important projects and desicions how to handle step by step, as i see it. All want the best for Gulden, so will it will be ok, i'm sure. When marketprice keeps growing, kwartjeterug.nl will flourish also, i'm sure.

WOOOOW that sounds impressive!
Well it must be where you guys are from.

1.Here in Tilburg and a lot of other places in the Netherlands we have something called the Gouden Gids and the internet.
I use it often if I want to reach a company by telephone.

2.Qualified people to answer questions? Seriously? Every person involved in NLG can pick up a phone or walk in a shop ask the owner to accept NLG.

3.Perhaps LTEX should focus his attention on GULDEX and make it work since club1680 and kwartjeterug both were EPIC fail!

This is why I say LTEX will get more respect when he make GULDEX come online. Spend less time wanking over forums and more time sorting out GULDEX will make us all happy.

I think Guldex is going to be an EPIC WIN if it gets released  Smiley

It has potential but LTEX has shown with club1680 and kwartjeterug that he is mainly just talk, hype and fail.
Only thing he has done is buying up a lot of Guldens and giving away free pizza.

A bit too negativ i think. Also LTEX wants the best and promotes other projects such as Nocks as well. That is a good thing. Kwartjeterug is not promoted yet, he is just waiting on that, because when it becomes big, he wants to be ready for it, he said. I give LTEX and the team both my credits.

Lol, I think half of my trust in this project comes from the Gulden devs and the other half from LTEX, I see him actually doing real stuff and come up with good projects (though they might be a little too soon for the current scale of the community). Nevertheless I have seen screenshots of Guldex and if it gets released the whole community and the devs owe him many kudos big time. Talk is cheap, I see him actually doing real stuff. And free pizza? damn you gotta give him some credits just for that  Cheesy

The free pizza was very nice of LTEX , it's something he didn't have to do.

Wow, what speculations can come from putting up a little display of protest... Let me try to first clarify my actions with the 1680 sell wall. This is in no way an attempt to display power of any kind, it's merely a statement from serious investors that they back the fact that they feel ignored by the very small inner circle around the dev-team. Lets just say we put our money where our mouth is. Not to enforce anything by showing of, but to clearly show we are not just a group of loud mouths or wannabes.

The protest is not about the disappearing community forum as well. Of course this is also a result of ongoing ignoring of serious contributors by the dev team, but not the reason for the 1680 protest.

Ive already read here that my KwartjeTerug and Club1680 are epic fails, but the 32 million coins sitting on the 1680 sell wall prove club1680 is still very alive. People who say KwartjeTerug is a fail clearly don't have a clue about it's success and the massive potential it has to put Gulden on the map once things are ready to go public mainstream.

This protest mainly comes from the ongoing ignoring of serious contributors to Gulden by the dev team. Most recent example is the IPO to fund the private company of Roel Buerra to become a Limited and use it to become active registrant of Guldens IOS wallet and other apps. This was proposed as the only way to get Apple to accept the apps and therefor a necessity. I raised serious and constructive questions about the choice to fund a private company and giving it control over essential assets of the Gulden project. I suggested to create a foundation in stead so no commercial aspects would be the base of future Gulden development. This was, again, like many times, totally ignored.

Even when I offered to fund (or donate) the cost for the limited for Nocks privately, so any conflict of interest can be avoided and the premine could be saved for other goals, it was completely ignored.

Here we are at a point where the dev team has dictated to use 1mm of the premine to fund a private company to become owner of one of Guldens most valuable assets, being the IOS wallet and other IOS apps. This company is owned by the most influential individual in this community that has been in control of almost any other thing in the development of Gulden and therefor has become, together with Rijk (who personally controls all other assets and premine), the central entity that controls Gulden.

As serious investors in Gulden (32mm on 1680 proves we are legit) we want to be enabled to at least be heard by the dev team and be able to defend our concerns (often based upon very rich RL experience).

The total ignoring of this group (together with a majority of other community members) is what motivates our statement right now.

Please notice, we are here because we strongly believe Gulden is one of the most promising crypto projects around and we are extremely committed to help it grow to the exceptional level it deserves. We are in no way interested to harm the coin and it's progress in any way. But we also refuse to be ignored and banned by a very tiny group of inexperienced people that think they need to maintain total control.

A fool will just look at the finger, even if it points to paradise!

to become owner of one of Guldens most valuable assets, being the IOS wallet and other IOS apps.
Sorry I've tried to not get involved in this but I can't sit back and watch such misinformation being wilfully spread.
They will not be the owner of the app (which is any way open source), just the distributor, and more than that most likely the *temporary* distributor, something which they are doing as a favour for us the dev team because we asked them and because this is the best tactic to solve our current app store problemand what has worked for other coins.
Repeating a lie often enough does *not* make it true, it is quite clear to me that you are trying to make an issue here where there is none.
