NO fud intended here. But can anyone explain me why this coin could have success? What are the greater things about this than bitcoin? Isn't that like saying lets use multiple internets instead of 1? I want to invest but i dont see the great value yet  We're not really looking for people who invest here, that's why you don't get very enthousiastic reactions. The point of Gulden is to build a coin that is actually used in daily life. Just read the OP if you want to find out more. Deliveryman is a short term pump and dump artist, he doesn't give a shit about any coins.  Ah I see. We're gonna see a lot more of those kind of people I guess. We rank second in volume on Bittrex today! But enough about the speculators. MaNI, I was wondering, how would Gulden cope with the kind of volume of transactions that BTC is having? Will we have a block-size debate one day too? The faster block times make it a bit of a non issue (for a long time to come), the transaction throughput for a given period of time is essentially limited by (BLOCK_SIZE * number of blocks) so by having blocks roughly 4x more frequently than bitcoin it means we can handle 4x the transactions for the same period of time. This of course doesn't mean we may not eventually run into a ceiling and have a debate about it, but it is less of an issue for quite a while, and even then we wouldn't necessarily have to increase it by as large an amount... |
