What is the current pps rate for 4.5GH/s worker?

I've lowered it from 0.000033 to 0.000025, but I still see no public shares.

private pools pay about 0.000022.  What do you guys use?
The buy price is 0.0000341

Posting your PPS rate is a bit of a controversy, I'd suggest you don't do it.  Lease work doesn't run all the time.  On your GPUMAX account click purchases.  Take the current purchase price and divide by 1.1, this is the nominal going lease rate.  Set it slightly higher or slightly lower and wait.  Check that price every once and awhile and adjust your rates if you need to.  Setting to 0.000025 is just ripping yourself off.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

The first rule of GPUmax is that we do not talk about lease rates.  Ever.

SOmetimes stats are delayed.  Are you seeing shares come through on your private pool?  That is always the first thing to check.  If not, you may not have configured the private pool correctly.....

When do lease shares run?  I have tried moving the price around and I am no longer getting leased work.

Also I bought shares and send the coins last night to the address on the purchase page but it still has not activated the shares.

How long does it typically take?

Thanks

Leases generally run in the afternoon into the evening (in the USA).  The longest I have seen leases run recently is around 12 hours.

Purchased shares can take a couple days to run.

Will the purchased shares just start automatically or can I turn them on and off?

Also what speed do the purchased shares run at?  For example in this case I bought just 60K shares to test it out.

How fast can I blow through those 60K shares?  will it take 2 min or 2 hours?  I would prefer 2 min.

You can not turn them on and off.

60k will run in like 5-10 minutes i think..  but i haven't made a purchase in a while, so my info is old.

Neither, once payment clears they are added to the queue and jobs are started manually when someone is there to babysit.  This is still beta.

Ok guys, I just had this huge illumination of what GPUMax is all about. I think I understand who the buyers are going to be (not the Beta ones, the real ones) and what's this project is all about.

If GPUMax is really what I think it is, I believe pirateat40 is currently years ahead of us. This project is dead serious and could really change the dynamic of the mining marketplace. I'm seriously excited to see the end of the Beta. I'm also pretty confident that the name of GPUMax will not change, even if ASIC come out.   Wink

I don't think it's appropriate discussing about it publicly, but I still want to discuss it. I need to validate my theory with somebody. Cheesy

So, here the conditions:
If you,
-have a farm bigger than 15 GHash/s (or, if you are bigger than me)
-are currently invited in the Beta of GPUMax

PM me, and I'll share my theory with you. If you don't fulfill the conditions, don't bother me. It's your job to prove me you fulfill the conditions. Only serious miners that could consider mining as a real job.

PS: It also means that my confidence about pirate paying back his BTCST lenders jumped up to 101%. Pirate is the real deal.

Hehe. You mean he's not a Ponzi?

I am invited to GPUMax, but have temporarily retired from mining. So exactly how big are you? I am 5'7". Not very big, but I am hoping you are smaller because I'd like to know.
