Hello everybody!
Plz,help me with this issue :
Im mining Lyra2reV2 2*R9 270X, 2* R9 280X,1* 7970 , 8 Gb RAM, W7 Prof
Then Im using sgminer-5.1.0-optimized  Im getting around 8 Mhs on 270X and 13-14 Mhz on 280x. But sgminer.exe freezes . Can work 20 minuests , can 2 hours , but freezes anyway. And its responding but stuck on waiting for available work from pool , timer on sgminer.exe stoped.

Then Im using sgminer-5.4.0–tweaked Im getting 4 Mhz on 270x and 8 Mhz on 280x. But mining is stable.

sgminer-5.4.0–tweaked is less optimized than sgminer-5.1.0-optimized, hence also more stable. We suggest you to use NiceHash Miner - it automatically detects if sgminer crashes and restarts automatically.

There do i have to put --temp-target --gpu-fan and so on parameters in NiceHash Miner ?

If i put it in settings -> AMD_OpenCL tab in ExtraLaunch Parameters , like --temp-target 71 --gpu-fan 30-90 --temp-cutoff 85
miner doesnt start , window flashes and disappear.  Tried to put it in config.json , same result.

This is a known bug and will be fixed in the next version. Thanks for spotting it.

So how I should control the temp's and fan speed of my GPUs ? MSI Afterburner ?

IMHO, you would need to find a pool that does auto exchange to any currency they are using.
Maybe MiningPoolHub, though I am not sure so use at your own risk.

MSI Afterburner is working ok for me. I set my own temp under "user defined" so that if my rig is running at say 60C, my fan speed is 60 % and if 70C my fan is 70% and so on. It was a bit of pain to set it that way but it's working. Some GPUs can't be set I hear...but give it try.

Ethereum-only algorithm will be closed and completely replaced with Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm

We introduced Ethereum-only algorithm several months ago. It was an intermediate solution because of the lack of full stratum support in Ethereum miners and pools. A couple of weeks ago we introduced Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm which completely replaces Ethereum-only algortihm. From buyers standpoint Dagger-Hashimoto finally brings the worlds-first option to rent pay-as-you-go hashing power based on Dagger-Hashimoto, allowing you to place orders and mine Ethereum or other compatible coins, for example Expanse. For sellers/miners the Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm introduced higher payouts without the immature/unexchanged balances.

Since Dagger-Hashimoto is now fully stable, supported by several pools as well as Genoi'ls ethminer official latest 1.1.5 release, we will be closing Ethereum-only algorithm. On June 20th at 12:00 UTC we will be closing Ethereum-only algorithm and all miners are of course welcome to use the regular Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm. All the needed instructions to run ethminer on our Dagger-Hashimoto pool are available here.

Please note that all current immature and unexchanged Ethereum-only balances will be process and paid in full after the closure of Ethereum-only algorithm. Therefore you can rest assure that all your earnings are safe, will be paid out and will of course even increase once you switch to the new Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm.

Here are two reasons:

1. Your HDD is very slow.
2. NHM - full of shit ( in this release v 1.5.1.0  do not work parameters, which could help : "MinerRestartDelayMS", "MinerAPIGraceMinutes", "EthMinerAPIGraceMinutes" and others ... that available in earlier releases worked)

Try to do the following:

1. Open the directory \NiceHashMiner\bin\ethereum\
2. Make it and run the bat file:

Setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
Setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
Setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
Setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
timeout 5
ethminer  --opencl --opencl-platform 0 --erase-dags old   -S daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com:3353 -O <wallet-addres>.worker:x --dag-dir  ..\..\data\AMD_OpenCL --report-port 4050

Wait.. .. .  until it goes non-zero hashrate's statistics
When will hashrates, close the bat file window and try to run ethminer through NHM (as usual)
  ......

If this does not work, close the NHM, open the config.json to manually enter the desired speed in the "Benchmarkspeed", again run the NHM  and enjoy.

Yes- that's the one. .... click on "settings", then the fan tab. Near the top of the tab, check the box to select user defined mode. Then scroll down and to "predefined fab speed curve" and change it to "Custom". Also check the box for " Force fab sped update on each period".
Next, go to the graph and move the four grey boxes to the temps and speed combo you want. Example: you could set the first box at the point for 40 C and the speed at 40 rpm. Repeat this step for the other 3 points until you have the selections you want.
