I tried to catch up on the thread but could not read so many pages. Did read predictions of 5k sats. Can we get 5000 by next week?

Tick tock, time is running out and I'm not talking about this two week long logo contest  Roll Eyes

I made tons of posts about the major flaws of WC and stressed urgency. This coin has about 2-3 days left before its completely done. Yes I mean it. I sadly feel we are past the point of no return.

I couldn't disagree more Ownski. We have an incredibly motivated team that is constantly working on new approaches to promote the coin, and we're in the process of becoming a real legal entity. WhiteCoin is not a short term pump, it's a long term investment based around a real plan that will take time to implement properly. As the good news about WhiteCoin continues to mount, we will only continue to improve.

We are a top 100 marketcap/volume coin, and the only coin that is truly community driven. I encourage you to join our volunteers if you have concerns.

Magonzo and community,

Can i hit the .co website with this -

http://www.fiverr.com/sagoongerservic/make-powerful-190-000-backlinks-be-careful-with-negative-seo-may-harm-website

And try get it delisted.  In my opinion a great start would be to get the old website delisted and start getting the .info site some solid SEO.

I can go ahead and start working at this if I have some agreement.

Great idea and yes we definitely need to do that. I'm pursuing other options as well, I'll fire you a PM.

I want Whitecoin to be successful just as much as everyone else but we have to face the cold hard facts. We are literally 1 BTC away from not even being listed on mintpals main page. I thought 40BTC volume was bad we are now less than a tenth of that. It doesn't matter how good the development team is if no one wants to buy your product. There are enough different "Whitecoin" websites that it can confuse even the most veteran of crypto investors. Honestly I can keep going on and on but complaining isn't gonna fix anything. What WC needed was a unified image with a dedicated central website. So far we barely made progress. I mean it took almost a week to update this main page in this thread. I respect what your doing and everyone who has contributed but we are slowly turning into the laughing stock of crypto.

I disagree. I understand you are more "short term trading" oriented by our price has stabilized. We seized control from the original devs which means that the confused messaging thing is an issue for the short term. I've noticed before that you have a tendency to make the error of assuming that our long term success is directly tied to short term market fluctuations.

I think you have very unrealistic expectations for how long it actually takes people to accomplish a massive todo list. The foundation has accomplished a great deal since it came together, including:

1. Consulting with the community to seize control from the original devs.
2. Forking the coin and providing an update to fix PoS (all using peer review as an adhoc team).
3. Creating a rebranding strategy and carefully executing it according to a schedule.
4. Providing a 2nd wallet update.
5. Work has begun on a 3rd wallet update.
6. Addition of games.
7. Fundraising initiatives to pay our devs.
8. Creation of a community driven website.
9. Drafting of the whitecoin paper, laying out a compeltely unique approach in crypto.
10. Creating a functioning committee structure.
11. Recruited and appointed a Director of Operations, Chief Technology Officer, and Director of Communications (Oizopower, Mindfox, and Birddog respectively).
12. Hours upon hours of legal research regarding founding as an association (nearly complete, name reservation process has begun)
13. Work on holding our first general assembly has been ongoing.
14. Drafting association bylaws for public review has been ongoing.
15. Logo contest underway and nearing the voting phase.
16. Op completely redesigned from scratch with new graphics (this was a 20 hour+ job, for the record)
17. IRL investor outreach has been ongoing.
18. Mainstream media outreach has been ongoing with significant progress made (keep your eye out for this one).
19. Implementing a format for community consultation and democratic decision making.

That's what's off the top of my head, and that's what the foundation has accomplished in less than a month.

It's still paying out, tho there have been some delays in processing the payout scripts the last couple days. This is mainly due to one of Chunky's key staff members being down with a bad flu, and also that the trade team has been trying to maximize the payouts due to the recent increase in potcoin value. Another payment should be processed shortly, and a large one went out night before last.

If you have any issues you're encouraged to contact chunky's support team.

I've been in frequent contact with the primary owner of Chunky and new measures are being put in place to ensure more frequent payouts.

Update:

Chunky just processed a payout actually as we were having this conversation, as soon as the WC has arrived from the exchanges then there should be new WC in your account at chunky.

Payouts take usually 2-3 days per round. This is to ensure the coins are sold at their peak value for maximum return. I have been mining on chunky pools for almost a month now and they have been great.

It's time for the community to choose a new identity for Whitecoin!

Now is your opportunity to share with the world your vision of what you believe best represents WhiteCoin!

Volunteer members of the WhiteCoin Foundation have organized an ‘identity creation’ process for the WhiteCoin creative community at large, showing that WhiteCoin is ready for the community to vote and accept a new image and brand identity for WhiteCoin.

The open submission & voting process ensures a voice to all WC holders through our innovative WC voting process. This contest will help foster the ongoing technical developments of both present and future projects.

All WC voting proceeds will be visible throughout the entire voting process via our 'Submission Leader Board' (link to be provided at time of voting) with final reconciliation to the WhiteCoin Donation Fund.

Visit http://whitecoin.info/news/official-logo-contest/ for more information on the voting process.

Submissions are now open!

I submitted 7 logos but i don't see anything on the voting round page... they need approval?

I would say go ahead but gonzo is currently negotiating another method before we resort to this.
