I'm pretty sure Bittrex will only change ticker for a payment of like 2 BTC, so you would probably have to pay them another 2 BTC to get them to change it back
I think it is 1.5 BTC but yes a waste of money since they must have just paid 1.5 BTC to change it to xbb ... .does the ticker even matter? so long as it is still called boolberry what difference does it all really make?
I have been trading Boolberry for a long time and like bbr coin ticker. I dont see any obvious reason to change it, and even more so there is no reason to change it if you have to pay money for it. Vote for bbr, no need to change it to xbb.
it's already been changed to xbb.... no point spending 1.5 btc to go back to bbr ?
then again i was used to bbr so it was a waste of money in the first place. Rather put 1.5 BTC into development pot.
but then again who can even develop these kind of coins? - very few developers its seems and 1.5 BTC to those people is nothing. Take people like smooth who is able to code these types of coins for example. It is said his day job pays 500K + per year. I would expect CZ is on similar wages or projects that pay similar are taking up his time. The only way to get these coders to help is to give them big slices of the coins minting else it wont be worth their time coding here.
If block can help do something that is great I support that. However bbr or xbb seems stagnated against teams of coders like xmr have working for 2 years. Of course I wish I had opted for xmr over bbr now but no point chasing xmr now we have missed the boat. I think more downside risk than up from here. I chose bbr strangely because I like the name and 2 people who know far more about crypto than I told me CZ was way ahead of the xmr coders in skill level for design for this kind of coin. They could well have been right but that didn't mean it was a better investment of course.
BBR though could be viable if CZ really is as many say a designer and coder above those with xmr but how to get him back helping bbr now it is worth so little? That is the issue. I think the big whales holding millions of BBR need to give him a incentive like we give you batches of BBR based on work conducted. Then if he can turn BBR in to a 200M+ coin he will have a massive stash of coins to sell along the way.
I never had many anyway sub 20k so I was a tiny fish but I sold most of it way before 90k. I think like many a concrete promise from CZ to return for say 10% of the minting delivered on the way to making bbr rival xmr then I would dive back in and so would most other people.
Block has done very well in keeping people interested in the project it was like 5k -8k sats when he took interest and it went to 90k so even I have to say thanks very much for some nice returns on the cheap coins I bought at 5k-8k range.
It would be good to see a collaboration with all of them working from a development pot even if CZ took the lions share and took 70% of the dev pot the other 30% divided to the other collaborators.
Why CZ can not give any straight response on the thread when people asking him questions is quite strange though.
CZ would you come back and work on BBR full time as your only crypto project for 10% of the BBR minting yes or no??
Also would you collaborate with other people trying to help BBR or prefer to only work on your own?
Perhaps some can come from whales and some can come from a block tax introduced? would you do it yes or no? I don't think it gives a good message to the community when developers only want BTC and not the investment in the coin they are building value in. However I do understand developers need to live whilst coding in the value so perhaps some balance could be achieved here.
