Oh that's right you don't have one. You contribute nothing to the project other than FUD. (Want to buy lower do you?) Carry on.

Incompetent developers, i hope you did not make one cent off monero. Why ? Because you suck a**.

I'd be willing to donate 5k xmr to a reputable team of 2-3 new devs to work on the gui and json...

If you are in the monero-dev channel on IRC you will actually see that a lot of work is being done. Give me a proper reason to flame the devs?

No action in monero-dev for some time now, what are you f.. talking about.. Oh,  amonth ago onishin, fr pool owner, refused to update to the latest version because the code was so fucking broken.. Anyway, I mine at 600KH/s - at a huge loss. If i stop now, the network is almost completely at the mercy of the botnet herders..

Just have a look here to see current developments: https://github.com/monero-project/bitmonero/

If you think i cant read code you're dumber than i thought. There is nothing at the github worth talking about. Everything is at a standstill...

You should really switch onto another coin, sell them, buy XMR from revenue. If it is on offer below your mining costs, you can cheaper buy instead of self mining XMR. Dont ask me where the miners are that can produce below your power costs, I dont know your local cost structure.
Just my 0.02 XMR opinion  Cool

It's possible that primer might just be pissed because his earnings took a big hit today, so the rational thought is to come here and blame you guys that you're not doing enough work, note that this is a GPU miner asking for a further optimized GPU miner. Seems like another fella that needs to vent IMO. Could be anything .. or maybe you're talking about me?

But yes ... I've said it too, that they're back .. and have had suspicions since Nov 24, when I messaged you about three people in particular Cheesy

Banned for what, pointing the obvious ?
My trust rating has nothing to do with my posts on monero - i received neg reps from scammers on an alt that ceased to exist couple of days after launch...

I would imagine many Dark trolls will cease trolling Monero after being able to accumulate some XMR at these low levels.  After all, the only reason they were trolling in the first place is because they must have though that XMR poses some risk to their portfolios, otherwise why bother.

Does anyone know what's going on at my favourite pool cryptonotepool.org.uk? I tried to contact the admin but to no avail, haven't seen him on IRC either.

Thanks

I made a very simple Windows miner for noobs :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=613072.msg9758820#msg9758820

You don't need to know anything, you basically click on a button.
It is for CPU + NVIDIA GPU only at the moment.

There is no virus but a false positive (minerd + ccminer). You must add an exception in your antivirus.

It will be interesting to see whether Bitcoin can adopt CN functionality. It would a win for privacy and freedom, but bad for my XMR investment: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2oh7vq/toward_unlinkable_bitcoin_transactions_andrew/

This is the reason Monero has many chances of catching up in the future, there is no way Bitcoin will be hardforked to add ring-signatures by default, as satoshi himself said, its already set in stone (the code).

I really liked to read that discussion on reddit, thanks for sharing.

I really liked to read that discussion on reddit, thanks for sharing.

Same here, there were some nice comments in it. I like this particular one from Gregory Maxwell about privacy:

Quote from: nullc (gmaxwell)
Privacy is important for many applications
Do people want to do business using a currency that lets their competition see their customers and their supplies purchases? Where everyone can figure out their payroll or margins?

Likewise, for your personal life... do you want your landlord knowing when you got a raise? The grocery clerk knowing your net worth (and calling in some cat burger friends?). Your neighbours gossipping that you don't give enough to your church or that you spend too much on porn?

In the Bitcoin ecosystem itself, the lack of privacy is a grave systemic risk... Miners can distinguish transactions and discriminate in their processing, and doing so gives them a degree of control over the system which they ought not have, and wouldn't have if transactions were more private.

So, sure, there are also applications for increased transparency using Bitcoin, but you can always layer more transparency on top of a more private system... but not the other way around.

Reddit spends too much time listening folks with fairly extreme political views who view Bitcoin as a tool for advancing those views. I'm glad lots of people find Bitcoin interesting, but those things aren't my interest, and as a tool it can be used in many ways. The tool of privacy is important to everyone, to companies, to individuals, and even to the governments that represent them. Privacy can prevent crime, improve fairness and quality, and generally elevate the human condition. It's a value that everyone can support and a feature that everyone demands, even if they aren't always thinking about it.[/b]

Also, this conversation is defenitely worth mentioning:
