Pro-tip: PIRATE MK is ~3-4M USD today, move 10% of your XMR into PIRATE while prices are cheap, then when PIRATE x20 sell enough to recover your XMR, and keep the remaining PIRATE as a second fungible digital cash.

Out of all the crypto tokens created so far, only 2 meet the requirements for digital cash, XMR & PIRATE

What about the trusted setup? Monero is the best privacy coin, always will be!

And calling supply infinite is disingenuous in the context that is implied here.

There is a small ongoing tail emission to support the coins ongoing survival, quite a feature in my mind.

Not just it will suddenly run dry like most other coins with no solution for it.

Even then infinite supply would take also infinity time to actually happen

I did not do anything about data migration !!! What should I do. Delete the old and start from block 0 again? Version v0.13.0.3 (Qt 5.7.0)

Hold off on that for a second. To be clear, you're using your own (local) node right? Or are you using a remote node?

confirm this problem. Make new wallet over GUI 13.0.3 and too have this error

Since that pirate trusted shit has 200 million coins I wonder how many centuries it would take monero to get to that point? I'm just guessing centuries, its probably more like millennia. Smiley

The pirate coin is not even listed on coinmarketcap, just some random coin came from of nowhere

Yes you are riright. Monero will be hardforked on October 18.

The developers expect that the size of anonymous transactions on the Monero network will decrease by 80%, and the commissions will be significantly reduced.

The Monero protocol involves three different mechanisms to ensure the anonymity of users: stealth addresses, circular signatures, and RingCT. At the same time, the latter requires complex calculations and time, which makes the maintenance of a full node extremely expensive. That's why it will be replaced by the Bulletproofs technology.

Bulletproofs allows you to aggregate transaction information into new data structures that can be logarithmically rather than linearly scaled.

The network update also contains a number of changes to the mining algorithm aimed at fighting ASIC miners.
