I want to donate, is it possible to do it in BTC? I might make a donation right now... Donations in XMR are more difficult to do, since there is no user-friendly wallet using remote servers, like Electrum. Or I am wrong and could you give me a download link to Electrum-like app for XMR? If you have an Android device you can download the Monerujo mobile wallet, it works with remote nodes and it's really easy to use. Also the desktop GUI wallet from getmonero.org lets you connect to a remote node and you don't need to sync the whole blockchain, like the Electrum wallet for other cryptos.

You can use mymonero.com which is an online web wallet that you can access from anywhere, or you can use either of the desktop wallets (CLI/GLI) with a remote node.

Finally I've sent (I hope) ~0.21XMR via an exchange. Also I hope I'll be able to send more periodically once I can... Don't judge me for low amount please...

The default is 0. If you want to see what it's currently set to, just type "set priority" and it'll show you. [wallet 48iP7f]: set priority Error: set "priority": needs an argument (0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, or one of default, unimportant, normal, elevated, priority)
Maybe I'm stupid, but the word "default" doesn't seem to carry any information. I get what unimportant, normal, elevated, and priority mean. But where does default fall on that spectrum? Is default a low priority or a high one?

Monero topic contains so many helpful threads on technical stuffs. Community members help each other to solve their issues, besides help from Montero team. This is one of great things shows that Monero, in reality, has a big, solid and mutual interactive community.

With priority set to 0 it will use the default fee multiplier, which is x4.

Finally I've sent (I hope) ~0.21XMR via an exchange. Hurray <3. I'd give you a merit on BitcoinTalk if I could. Also I hope I'll be able to send more periodically once I can... Don't judge me for low amount please...
You shouldn't feel obligated to donate. While I'm sure it's very helpful, it certainly isn't a requirement (unlike some coins, like Dash and Zcash where it's a part of the block reward)

Hello Please, explain the situation with the exchange livecoin.net. They closed the withdrawal of monero, until the conflict with the monero developers is resolved.

Beyond Binance.com I use Tradeogre.com & Tokens.net. Just don't put all your eggs into one bracket, and pre-think about ANY exchange as scam - you will wonder each time they appear honest

YOU GUYS ---- Is Monero Still Considered A Top-Tier Crypto? Not a Troll Question, I've Just Been Away for Quite a While Monero is the only 100% trustless anonymous currency. It relies on Cryptonote algo that has nearly 20 years of scientific research published in peer-reviewed mathematical journals. Cryptonote is stable, mature technology and all its weakness have been studied very well. Furthermore, Monero is designed from the scratch to be anonymous by default, so end-user can violate anonymity only if he wants to do that apparently. To violate anonymity, end-user can either use payment-ids to make his payments publically available, or stealth sub-addresses to make his payments transparent for his payment's counterpart only. So Monero even being anonymous by default is 100% ready to public and legal business solutions too. The nearest competitor of Monero is ZCash. But ZCash is trojan by nature: its zk-snarks algo relies on so called "initial blockchain secret key" or "Zcash trusted setup" that must be fired off by developers. See how they did it: " For this particular hard fork upgrade, it’ll have to go through a new trusted setup, and if someone is able to compromise the “randomness” input into the system by developers, they’ll theoretically be able to exploit the system, possibly printing themselves as much zcash (currently valued at $316 per token) as they’ve ever dreamed of. " https://www.coindesk.com/devs-destruction-inside-zcashs-second-crypto-ceremonyDo you trust in ZCash developers? I don't trust them as well as in Monero devs, Bitcoin devs, etc: I prefer 100% complete trust-less solutions, and Monero is the only such a solution relies on mathematics only. Speaking about other anonymous competitors is completely unserious: Dash? You must trust in Dash masternode each time you send "anonymous" payment. I was observing Monero and its development by my own eyes for a long time since 2014. Monero is the direct Bitcoin replacement because it fixes all the Bitcoin drawbacks: - Monero has no pre-mine and insta-mine like Bitcoin has when Satoshi mined it alone. - Monero has adaptive block size so we found very "wild" and "terrifying" when Bitcoin splitted down to Bitcoin Cash that is splitted to Bitcoin Cash ABC & Bitcoin Cash SV just because of block size limitations. Stupid people: all the Bitcoin Cash variants are 100% scam coins. - Monero has the Community that proved it can develop the source code even without its famous leader Riccardo Spagni aka Fluffypony: the amazing Bulletproofs algo that reduced transaction fees from typical 0.01XMR to <0.0005XMR has been implemented and released after Fluffypony has switched to the Tari project (Ethereum-like ecosystem on top of Monero blockchain - https://www.tari.com). - Monero community has strong anti-ASIC politics and tweak mining algo twice a year to be 100% ASIC-resistant forever. Furthermore, in the last months Monero officially fights against virus-mining too: for example, mining pool's source code detect "low-difficulty shares with multiple connections"-like behavior and rejects such suspicious connections to a pool. Summarize that, among large and well-studied cryptocurrencies, Monero is The Only Anonymous and one among the most advanced top-level cryptos.

Monero is good for developing and investing.I also see that MOnero has a lot of support because Monero is widely available in the market, including Binance and Bithumb.

Hello Please, explain the situation with the exchange livecoin.net. They closed the withdrawal of monero, until the conflict with the monero developers is resolved.
There is no reason why they should not send you your coins. find more information about this situation: in luly 2018, the livecoin.net lost $ 1.8 million due to the vulnerability in the monero code. after they froze the withdrawal, as I understand, until the issue of compensation is resolved. I would like to hear developers Monero, about this situation.
