Are you syncing to an SSD? A resync from scratch may be worthwhile to ensure best performance going forward. Also, are you using the CLI or the GUI?
Yes, I am. I used the link above and redid the chain and now it's fine. I was using the GUI, but I had a bug in the wallet that I could not understand and so I went back to the CLI. I would try and explain it but I probably couldn't. In any event, I'm back up and running, thanks for all the help everyone!! Mooonero ftw!! Perhaps you should give GUI v0.13.0.4 a try? Lots of bugs were fixed in this version. I have been and am still on that version, so yeah... There are still bugs to be found... This one was just too hard to explain let alone recreate....

You can always make a vid of you screen if you can recreate issues with a new wallet, or one you don't mind tossing.. CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software

I wish I had that at the time, but it was a new install of windows, and at this point, I'm pretty sure it was just a local corruption issue. I've restored it since in the CLI from seed and it's fine now.

In my opinion monero is one of the best private coin at the moment and I'm sure monero is private enough to make your transaction not traceable and the fact in the dark web they still using monero for the transaction.

https doesn't hide the fact that i'm using https so that's why i don't use encryption because everyone is trying to crack encryption so i just don't use encryption because no one is looking at unencrypted data because everyone wants encrypted data to crack

I mean, they might know where to look.

Guys how do think, after total crypto dump that lasts since Nov 14 on all the exchanges, XMR hashrate does grow. Today ~500Mh/s. Why?

Someone had some extra gpus and decided they have electricity that is either worth a loss or they are hodling their newly mined coins?

Someone had some extra gpus and decided they have electricity that is either worth a loss or they are hodling their newly mined coins? GPU miners move from coin to coin all the time. All coins value dropped for about same %. Some a bit more then others. I guess some miners saw Monero as best choice. They might leave tomorrow. I general hashrate was between 400 and 500 last half year. So is sort of super steady. sooner or latter it is expected that will start growing gain.

It's not uncommon to see hashrate grow during a bear market. Look at Bitcoin - hashrate is up 400% this year and price is down 75%, and I would guess miners are still profitable. I think it's just during crazy bull runs the price per coin goes up waaaaaay faster than the cost to actually mine one.

Monero is a serious project and a lot of trash like BCH will soon fade away. This the moment to buy,no panic and no fear. I bought XMR at 86.5 and I am not willing to sell off,I already knows Monero will pass soon a lot of coins.

Looks like it would make a great gift card for christmas with a seed word inside. Thank you. I will sell it as a postcard/collectible card (a friend of mine framed it and it looks great), but I have plans for a "gift-card" as well. Currently talking to my printing service regarding special gold-coloured lining to make it look more special and also producing temper proof holograms is not done over night. Will post here when this project is finished, probably in a few weeks.
