Maybe try installing Ubuntu 13.10 and use that to mine?

First of all goto c:/-> users -> "yourusername" -> Appdata -> Roaming -> Bitmonero delete everything whatever is in that folder.

Download the latest wallet .
Then start bitmonerod.exe.

It enver finds peers and never updates blockchain

- corrected some command-line - please double check the Windows script, typoes may have occured
