Read up. All the relevant info is in the previous posts above. Its more or less where things are at. He's pretty much cheating the court system while in Bulgaria. If you are in the US I suggest contacting the FBI in their NY branch to establish a pile of reports in the same location. Considering the really strong anti-fraud/anti-securities laws in NY (because we are investors in his business and was enriched by our money and we got nothing but garbage (in some cases nothing at all) in return, we really need to have the established system come down on him over this. Also as an FYI the NY court jurisdiction is no stranger to bitcoin cases...it is where Ross Ulbrecht was tried and sentenced. But this was just plain fraud/investment fraud.

If you have not filed with them yet, you are doing yourself a STRONG disservice. Posting on this forum alone will get you shit and he WILL get away with it. He pretty much already has. The court case already indicates he has played the system. Please report your situation with him @ http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx and follow up with a phone call to http://www.fbi.gov/newyork enough people calling will result in action being taken. Joshua Zipkin is likley now running a petahash mine in Europe with the funds he stole. He has closed up shop. This was always his intent. If you dont believe me, read the chats in my sig. Search the document for petahash. Search it for China as well. He pretty much ripped us off built miners and is getting rich from the effort.

How much proof do you need that he is getting away with this?

i went to the new york branch fbi back in may i think. didnt talk to anyone but the officer behind the window
which they just told me to fill out a form leave a statement and that someone will contact me but i havnt gotten any calls or anything from them

Unlikely. [Not a lawyer, not your lawyer etc...] The court is essentially concluding that AMT is un-sueable in its current form, and requires compliance by Josh to do anything about it. He will just keep dragging things out until the other party gets bored of paying for consul.

Been away from the forums for a while...but yea this is probably right. There seemed to be some interest in taking him down and pressing charges from other agencies. But don't know where that went. He may still be out of the country. Hopefully he is at the very least miserable in some hole somewhere drinking himself sick (he was doing that even back when all this was going on).

Damn been a while. Saw the notification come up. His reputation is ruined, but no doubt he's finding ways to scam again. He does alot of SEO shit so no doubt he's using twitter or facebook to improve his rankings so he can get a job. But other things not so easy to hide. And he's got a history there of stiffing landlords. (Sound familiar?). Public records shows he was taken to court, lost and never paid up.

Like any case of this kind, it may be a few years, and doubtful we'll ever get recovery. He's obviously hidden his funds. He's pulled a Donald Trump on us, but worse because he screwed himself in the process.

Even the LED lighting industry eg Cree, GE, Osram, Philips, et-all has jumped on the horticultural uses  BIG time for tailored spectrum lights for plants of all species from lettuce, tomatoes and yes even specifically hemp. In the US alone it (legal hemp) is a 1.2 billion dollar industry.

If it hasn't been resolved by now, it may never be.  And recovery may be impossible unless criminal charges are leveled against him. We had that chance a couple of years ago,  but too few acted to do it. Of course this is what he wanted for it to go away with time. He's sitting on the Bitcoin worth millions now and we've got nothing but shit out of it.  When the case is over he'll no doubt sell the Bitcoin and try to make a comeback. 

His obvious opposition to me during that time and doxxing helped him it seems put fear in others. I'm still here. And he's got 0 grounds for any lawsuit. But at any rate I've got the  FBI report in so if he resurfaces with the money he's done.
