A big portion of the sharelog has been cleared. Many of the shares removed have been paid more than one time due to a bug in the payout system that wasn't removing shares after they had been paid. That's the reason the backlog was almost 4 million shares. I'm sure a lot of you noticed that you had astronomical balances, that is the reason. It was just constantly adding to your balance rather than decreasing it when paid.

I will need to sort through what was paid and what wasn't, and pay out manually. So payouts are going to stop for a while.

With this the site will be shutting down, once I finish the manual payouts with what mature coins are available now, payouts will stop for a while until all coins mature.. Then the pool will pay what it can of the remaining balances.

Site has been updated to support merged-mining of Monocle and Vertcoin.

I am from the start / 5-5-2014/ to you / www.p2proxy.net / , when will be paid my coins

I have many coins there  Huh

I hope I can trust you and I will not be tricked  Wink

Yeah, it's just gonna take a while to sort out who gets what. 173 miners, limited coins. The pool won't be able to pay everyone their full balance they had before the log clearing, that would only be a handful of miners otherwise (one guy had 360 coins... and the total log was more than the pool makes in 2 days..). So there are gonna be a lot of frowns I'm sure. I'm going to give priority to people that were actually still mining on the pool.

I have been mining with you for about 2 months before the merge mining, I sure hope I will see the coin that I mined:

I was cheated there and switched to Simplevert.  They paid me non of my MON and 1/4th of my VTC and that was days ago.

If anyone wants me to setup a P2Pool node for them and have a dedicated linux O/S, I can set you up for merged mining for 10 VTC. This is the ONLY METHOD to merge mine more than 2 coins, at the moment.

I'll get VTC, MON, and PLX running.

I'll give you command line to change password and show you how to change rpcpassword and rpcuser for each wallet. I expect it to be a fresh installation of Linux for your own security and make my whole process easier (without things getting in the way).

If you don't have a dedicated machine, I suggest you go to www.digitalocean.com and use the coupon code DODEPLOY for free 10 dollars (2 month 5.00 server or 1 month 10.00 server).Just register, setup ubuntu and provide user credentials. This is the safest way. I will use SSH and setup/configure everything remotely! After you are setup, you can change credentials. I can show you how, if necessary..

Keep in mind, only you can mine on it. This is the only way to mine more than 2 coins, at the moment.

Don't even bother with anyone else's P2Pool or traditional pool, right now. Setup your own and mine VTC, MON, and PLX at the same time.

Will this work on a BAMT?

Yes, you would use BAMT how you normally would when connecting to P2Pool. The wallets, however, would be located on your dedicated node. This is the reason you have to setup your own node to merge mine more than 2 coins at the moment.

just clone the vtc?no any new thing?

MON and VTC co-exist, and that is the new thing. The dev team of a successful, stable coin have launched a merge-mineable coin just in time for the exodus of GPU miners to Scrypt-N.

It looks like there will be tri-mining readily available soon as PLX is added to pools.

Yes, but understand there is no limits. The more merged coins that are released will result in miners being able to just add them. If 20 more merged coins come out, we could mine all 20 of them simultaneously.

For some reason I'm not getting any MON.  I am running my own p2pool node.  I'm using the following config:

And mining config:
  • sgminer.exe -o 127.0.1.1:9174 -u VTC-ADDRESS -p MON-ADDRESS --algorithm adaptive-n-factor --rest-of-settings

I'm not using proxypool, but AFAIK it shouldn't be needed when solomining.  I have been mining with this config for about 48 hours, have been receiving VTC but no MON at all.  What am I doing wrong?

Do you see "Got merge-mined work!" in your p2pool console? If you don't, you need to put server=1 into your monocle.conf and restart the monoclecoin wallet. If you do, then your p2pool is set up properly. rpcmonuser and rpcmonpass is set up exactly as you see it in the monocle.conf. What is your hashrate? I believe the difficulty is too high such that hashrates too small might take too long to solomine a block.
Thanks for your help! I finally got some MON, it took almost 3 days.  I think you were right, my hashrate is too low (750kh/s) and that's why it took that long.

You sold too cheaply my friend. There are only 8M coins, diff is going to match VTC soon.

Then someone got a good deal.  He was polite and quick to respond the entire time.  I am happy with what happened either way.

I hope you are right though and he did get a good deal.  That makes the other coins I have more valuable later.

Well in that case if diff of VTC=diff MON,price should be 10x of VTC price...but that is just a theory, maybe in the few months.

I've got a merged mining VTC/MON p2pool up and running on the 3rd network, based in France with low latency:

Connect to stratum+tcp://109.24.254.169:9555

Merged stats: http://109.24.254.169/proxypool/
Normal stats: http://109.24.254.169:9174/static/

So at home I could set up the P2P software on a Windows laptop then point my BAMT rig to the laptop?

If anyone wants me to setup a P2Pool node for them and have a dedicated linux O/S, I can set you up for merged mining for 10 VTC. This is the ONLY METHOD to merge mine more than 2 coins, at the moment.
