Is there anyplace to get updated from dev without having to read all these posts?

This is badly needed - why can the devs not provide clear instructions? This whole time I don't know whether I'm ok or on a fork. They didn't make clear that we needed to add nodes from their list in the OP. I still don't have a clue what I'm supposed to do or what the current situation is.

I am just wasting time here trying to get on the correct block...

Using just:

addnode=node.syscoin.me:6369

I get:

{
    "version" : 80602,
    "protocolversion" : 70002,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 1759,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "connections" : 3,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : 53.59349095,
    "testnet" : false,
    "cakenet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1408243756,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "mininput" : 1.00000000,
    "errors" : "Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."
}

Are you using the latest wallet? v0.1.1

Just built from latest source on Github.

Now stuck at 1663:

{
    "version" : 80602,
    "protocolversion" : 70002,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 1663,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "connections" : 5,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : 2.41156450,
    "testnet" : false,
    "cakenet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1408243756,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "mininput" : 1.00000000,
    "errors" : ""
}

Was the source definitely updated to latest version?

why do you people so negotive?

People want to get their coins to exchanges quickly. Buy support is not guaranteed, it will last only some time. There will be no refunds. This is why we should be nervous. Many people wasted many hours getting their wallets going and syncing

This is A STRAIGHTFORWARD FUD.

How do you know there willl be no refunds???

This will be suicide for Moolah and Mintpal.

They have the 1500 BTC in Escrow. Anybody who gives back the SYS will get 518 sat (at buy price). Then they win nothing but lose nothing either.
If they don't get money back at failure (RIGHT NOW THERE IS NO FAILURE, but some temporary setback!), they will lose their image and most probably very few people will want to do business with them afterwards.
Is their company Moolah/Mintpal worth 1500BTC???

So, keep your cool, and I predict as soon as wallets everywhere are fixed and some weak hands dump which is inevitable, we will touch 4 digits pretty soon!

No fud intended.

1. As you said yourself - this is not a failure, thios is just a temporary setback. Because of this - no refund can be expected.

2. They can't set buy walls and give refunds at the same time.

OK, but you WILL get your money back at 518 if they fail to provide what they promised. And it will be clearly visible what they've done.
I know that people are impatient and there will be a lot of FUD because of this in this thread. But this is life. Either you have strong nerves, or don't trade Cryptocurrency. I would bet this coin will be much better than mostly anything you have seen so far.

BTW I am synced at block 2339. So it is moving. Go dump your SYS to me Smiley

I think it is not happening for all.So they should test more.

I really not aware of what you guys worry about, this is a new coin with completely new features, every new software will have bugs after the first release, even Windows, Oracle etc, but they will mature gradually, bug will be fixed one by one, by the way, I am a Senior Development Engineer Tester working in Microsoft.

Technology is irrelevant here. You cannot fix reputation.

In software development, generally we have Unit testing, Alpha testing, Beta testing, SIT, UAT, every testing phase we will find many bugs, but after its release, user still can find bugs too, they we will have warranty release to fix these bugs, I don't think DEV has enough resource and environment to do these testing, it is understandable. If you are a developer or tester engaged in a big software development, you will understand what I said, software development is not a game, it is very complicated.

1. Stop writing in color, your arguments don't get more legit through that
2. These guys want 1500 BTC for their work. They should get it at least working on release. Not having a working wallet on release and advertising with "business on block chain" with a not working block chain, is shit. No business partner would accept that in real world.

8 months under development and cant even get a basic functioning wallet on launch.

that alone speaks for the competence and future of this dev team.

1. Do you invest in this coin???
2. What do you guys want to do? Kill this coin?
3. whatever, we have issues now, what we should do is working together to get the issue fixed, do you think complaints can help??

NOTE for windows.. I have uploaded a conf file with two nodes.. Also updated the zip file (wallet) with this conf.

If you are having issues.

Best way to do it is.
1. BACKUP wallet.dat..
2. Clean out data folder.. Leave wallet.dat there
3. Add the syscoin.conf file to the data folder.
4. Restart wallet and LEAVE it open..

Details are :
syscoin.conf : https://mega.co.nz/#!OFIRgRRI!tyhVLCaKeZL0nBzf0e2s_JODXUu4qwehXqEkr12eGBg
QT-Wallet.zip (new conf file) : https://mega.co.nz/#!LEwEhSqI!DjSyUEnNab8Xsj8mxTGTFfhbkOX3_3vNV76NHxGz8FE

Please dont use any other conf files at the moment (Or addnode lists you see around the place, these could be old nodes not updated).
Let me know how you get on.

IF YOU HAVE ISSUES USE THIS, WORK

For everyone who have issues, use this, download the zip file, delete everthing except wallet .dat,put Syscoin.conf in same folder as wallet.dat and then start wallet.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Thepool.pw?  Over 80% orphans and doesn't seem to have found a block in hours.  The pool seemed to be on the right fork after the update last night, so I'm not sure what's gone wrong.

What are some working pools?  Thanks.

1. I did
2. 1500 BTC for nothing delivered (till now) can't be the standard in Crypto
3. No. I (and everyone else buying the ICO) paid the developers to get it done. If  I pay someone and he doesn't do the job as he told he will, I want my money back. This is the reality my friend.
