I can confirm it's playable again. Got 3 coins in about 25 minutes.
Pitty that so many coins have been mined by bots, this could have been a good market but that fact spoils it all, just like a fat pre/instamine. No one is gonna talk that out of my head.
Goodluck playing.

Block explorer is seeing not working? fix it please Thanks.
I've been working on adapting Insight explorer. I have a simple version up at http://37.153.97.65:3000/ now, but it is currently in resync so it won't show much for the next hour or so.

So hard to even win once..
Watch some (non-bot) replays to get a feel for different tricks/strategies for getting around various obstacles quickly. Even at this minimum difficulty TT you can't afford a lot of rewinding/restarting time because you only have a minute or two to solve a block if anyone else is actively mining. You can also wait for "lulls" in mining activity, we still have the occasional long stretch where no block is mined for awhile.

I'm not sure what you mean by "so many coins." We only went a few weeks ahead on the subsidy schedule. On the grand scheme of things being ~1 month ahead of schedule on a subsidy curve that halves on a scale of ~2years is a bit of a "drop in a bucket." Last time that I worked it out the "excess coins" produced was also quite a bit less than the developers' pre-mine, and are coins that would've been produced soon enough, anyway, not coins produced out of thin air at genesis. Granted they might have been distributed to more than the 5-10 people who got them, but on the other hand those few people worked very hard to keep our network secure at a time when it was extremely vulnerable, saw us through to a solution, and most of them even directly contributed, in some way or another, to that eventual solution. Further, since there is no total cap I'm not sure why it even matters that we got ahead of schedule at all. It's not like we are now a month closer to finishing mining. Personally, I have mixed feelings about this, of course.

We are now past block 178000 and run times will now count toward the first target to be set at block 180000. Game on! I was asked about how log2_work is currently showing in debug.log under the new work curve. Although it appears from the log that log2_work is not increasing, I can assure everyone that this is only a display issue. The amount of work credit being given for these low difficulty blocks is very small, and below the 8 decimal places displayed into the debug.log. Just to confirm, I extended one of my node's print to show 16 places to see that work is indeed being credited - and not so small that it is being rounded off or anything of that sort. (As was the concern of the person who contacted me.) SetBestChain: new best=a1fec83597a039daebd2fd388b5515cd85fc4985a0f9ad870415ffe08b77704d height=178034 log2_work=45.22305641752664 tx=180120 date=2014-08-28 14:19:45 progress=0.000000 SetBestChain: new best=451fc1c8f51e75fdbc9141ccdbaf314b49a38c8bbe49898c9a9c560e4d1fb009 height=178035 log2_work=45.22305641752667 tx=180121 date=2014-08-28 14:22:46 progress=0.000000 SetBestChain: new best=63512d9b36a542609f7280340e19582a078998e47490113ae8febb6eb3116577 height=178036 log2_work=45.22305641752671 tx=180122 date=2014-08-28 14:25:03 progress=0.00000
So you can see that it is increasing appropriately. (Also all of the actual calculations and comparisons done while resolving conflicts during a reorg use the original bignum form and not the log2 form, so they are not subject to rounding anyway.)

I've been following this thread for a while and I must say great work with the fix!
Are the other filters apart from 'None' supposed to work? I can't collect the coin when using the minim1ner basic filter if I do hit the coin nothing happens, you just freeze. And the minim1ner Mix filter doesn't finish loading or maybe I didn't wait long enough.

Thanks! Hopefully I can get back to more fun things that I had been working on. Are the other filters apart from 'None' supposed to work?
No. In theory they could be made to work with the new network parameters, but then they would likely never find a map. They'll be removed.

Wait, so if they do work then something is wrong? because they work for me but whenever I touch a coin i don't get a reward. (it freezes) Oh, that makes sense. I'll try without a filter... Edit: Yay it works!

The game is similar to Elastomania. You win coins by being the first person to get their rider through a map and to one of the two coins at the bottom.

No, there are no central servers or trusted authorities. All solutions have their physics rerun precisely by anyone verifying the chain. Noone has opportunity to cheat.

I think the main problem now is that although c-cex is a very good exchange it's a bit small and specific and just can't consume all the generated volume of moto.
So we desperately need at least 2 or 3 more good exchanges to trade on.
Maybe you could try to send some e-mails again?

Yeah, we should probably try bittrex.com

Yeah, we should probably try bittrex.com It is important to keep in mind that right now the network is still potentially in a fragile state. Our chain crashed - this is no insignificant event! Our work function changed rather drastically. It would be best to be cautious, and consider things to be "extra experimental" right now. I would not recommend a big push for adoption until after the dust settles. Until we hit our first setting of target, I would strongly advise caution to anyone accepting Moto! Wait for extra confirms. Check getchains output often. Be paranoid. The network literally can't be less secure than it is right now, it is explicitly set to lowest difficulty until re-target. I know that this is not the usual song and dance that you seem to see from most devs, who would push for exchanges and adoption at any cost, so it may seem strange. I assure you that it is critical. Past block 180000 we can have more confidence in the new configuration and can trust that sufficient work is being built onto the chain. Even then, care should be taken. We are trying some very new things. Many coins claim to be cutting edge. Moto was already on the "bleeding edge." With the developments over the past weeks we've jumped straight into the wound. This is not to say that I see/anticipate any specific reason for concern. With the exception of initially having what I would consider dangerously low hash-rate applied the relaunch appears to have gone very cleanly. We had an early fork of 7 blocks while old peers were banning new versions as misbehaving, but no transactions appear to have been conducted at the time. Subsequent forks have all been only 1 or 2 blocks long. The couple of things that I've done in testnet to further verify the new setup have all shown positive results. Bots are either not coming online at all, or failing to make any significant showing, so I don't think they'll suddenly overrun humans again. There are a few blocks in the chain that are "questionably" botted, as they were submitted a bit more quickly than their run's time, but could just be good humans practicing at a faster frame-rate, "training" for when difficulty increases. I do intend to try "botting" again myself at some point, but this hasn't been much of a priority for me, yet. There is certainly a bright future for Moto, if we survive this reboot. I have no doubt that many exchanges will want to get on board. We will see unique services and applications, not even "in context" to other coins. After Thier's Law runs its course, Moto will be one of the very few offerings left standing, because it actually has something to offer! This will happen, all in good time, but it would be exuberantly foolish to try to rush things, and likely downright dangerous. (I highly suggest reading Satoshi's own comments on the matter of pushing for adoption rate. What he had to say might surprise you.)
