although that's a very poignant fact I don't care to deny, my concern is really with trying to help stabilize the blockchain. if anyone has some bots they like to share I'd be willing to give them half of all coins mined I'm a man of my word. Otherwise you can slander me here... nuf said lol my dad is a computer science lecturer but to be honest it doesn't run in the family
if (you don't like programming yourself) then (stuff it) else (don't mind programmers and programming at all in fact)
It think you meant: int you_don't _like_programming_yourself = <insert 1 or 0 for true / false respectively>; if you_don't_like_programming_yourself = 0; { stuff it; } else { don't mind programmers and programming at all in fact; } exit ? Not sure if that is right. But in batch it would be... @echo off set /p you_dont_like_programming_yourself=Do you like programming yourself?
if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "Yes" goto true if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "yes" goto true if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "Y" goto true if %you_dont_like_programming_yourself% == "y" goto true
cls echo stuff it pause exit
:true
cls echo don't mind programmers and programming at all in fact pause exit
Put that in a .txt file and save it as "program.bat" then run it. Apparently using goto is bad but how else would I do it? (question for a programmer to answer) P.S. I don't know why I just wrote that.

That's everyone's concern If the bot creator is here, he's not interested in sharing the bot...

You need not only to be a programmer but to be a good one. I made this coin but I have almost no idea how to make a bot. Before HMC's hardfork it was easier but now this is very non-trivial. I think we will all benefit if botman will release his bot. Maybe intentionally slowed down version or which sends some part of reward back to him.

i doubt he has faith in cryptos. and to be honest neither do i. the devs dont even respond to my considerations for changing the visuals of this game and make it promotable, coz right now its not promotable, its horrible shit
Why such a tone? William and I have both responded several times to your comments about the graphics. I'll say again that if you create some good alternative assets I'll add in a theme system to use them.

So crypto games are flawed because of BOTS ?
I've had critics in this thread before because of the domination of the bots, this coin was pretty much monopolized by just a few people. But, I don't think this is valid anymore because the price of MOTO has been so low that anyone has had the chance to buy some for little money. So as soon there has been good circulation of ALL the botted coins then this coin could be ready for another stage, marketing, adoption, services, more exchanges, etc. That said it would be so much better if there were no bots at all anymore, then more and more players will come and there would be positive stories around it by itself.

But there is no way to be 100% sure there are no bots... People with will and time are going to find a way to make a bot. I still agree with the dev's, the current approach is the best. We must keep the bots, but we must make them have the same mining difficulty as humans.

We must get a lot more human mining going before we can know if any gap remains, and how much of one. (Or we need a bot of the same caliber as what is on the network, for study.)

why can't bots be determined? can't player movements on the blockchain be recorded so the predictability can be mapped?
a question can you please add a function in motocoin-qt that allows me to import a wallet.dat file coz i put my .dat wallet in all the motocoin dirs in windows and its not showing, though the wallet is syncing, thank goodness, OLOL does the wallet need a specific name? shouldn't there be a load wallet menu item in the menu? so u can load .dat files manually inside the wallet itself? please add this functionality, its very necesarily I believe..

Wait for the wallet to be fully synced and then add the wallet.dat. Maybe your transactions haven't been loaded (synced) yet. As for the bot question, I'm sure that would slow down syncing considerable because then everyone would need to essentially generate hundreds of plays for the map and if one of them matches the replay, don't accept it. But that would only work if you have the same algorithm for playing the map as the bot owner is using to get blocks. Its pretty much impossible.

What do you mean it's not loading? Did you delete the other wallet.dat before you copied it over? (It may be called wallet(2).dat) How do you know it hasn't loaded? Check the address of the wallet.dat in the dir. Then stop the wallet, and delete it (make sure you have an original copy of your wallet somewhere). the paste it in again and start the wallet back up. If your address is the same and your wallet has been synced then I'm sorry, there is nothing wrong. Whatever balance is shown is the balance you have in your wallet.dat

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BACKED UP THE WALLET.DAT!!!! And don't delete all of the files. Just check wallet address, then move the wallet.dat. Restart wallet. Check that address is different. Then shut down wallet and then delete newly generated wallet.dat. And replace it with old one. Start wallet again. Check that address is the same as the first time. If it is, then whatever balance is displayed is what you have in there. (If wallet is synced) What is your wallet.dat's address?
