Question: Should a portion of the unclaimed coins be made available for those that missed the swap?
Yes - We have enough to spare, even for late-comers.
No - Sufficient notice and time to complete the swap was given. It wouldn't be fair to those that were punctual.

Anyone seeing new blocks?

The wallet for the explorer has not seen any block for several days now, I've tried re-synchronizing but to no avail, and wallet CPU usage stays very high at all times.

Now is #326430
Mining at least 4 miners. I think Cnainz blockexplorer hung and must be restarted, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=571254.msg8723300#msg8723300

I've already tried resynch a couple of times, but it gets stuck at the same point...

Could you PM me the ip of a few nodes on the right chain? I'll force the wallet to synch only from them.

restarted some wallets, please try again!

One of the most annoying things about the CFC2 wallet is that it seems to go through a "Not Responding" cycle.  Any idea what causes this and how to correct it?

Trying a resynch, blocks coming in very very slowly, apparently current nodes are overloaded...

There appears to be at least two forks with heights 327730+ and 311341

I guess a new version with some checkpoints is in order, someone needs to check which fork the exchanges are on, then add it to the code.

The current fork on the network could be a reason IME, another is that you have too many "unspent outputs" in the wallet (check how large your wallet.dat is), in which case you'll need to consolidate by sending all funds in as few transactions as possible to another wallet (but I would wait for the fork situation to be resolved if I were you)

The wallet has been doing that for months.  Back a bunch of pages ago I brought it up and asked about a new wallet.

Explorer resynchronized from the blockchain provided by Samai, however neither he nor I are "officials" on this blockchain.

So the dev should ideally come forward, ensure it's the proper chain by communicating with exchanges, then add a checkpoint in a new version.
(FWIW I PM'ed that to the dev a few days ago, but haven't heard back)

Something is wrong here. Please check my PM. I also copied it to the dev

https://bittrex.com/Status

I’m sure Bittrex is holding most of CFC2 coins and should be on the right chain. It’s block height is shown as 311322. This should be the right block height even we could update checkpoint today to align with the exchange

Bittrex is stuck on the same fork the explorer was stuck for several days, part of the network is on it, part of the network forged on according to getpeerinfo.

I contacted the dev when the issue became apparent in the explorer days ago, and there was no reply.
I also asked here, and hence the posts I have made in this thread.

If you are able to contact the CFC2 dev, please do so immediately. For BITTREX to become unstuck, it may take an update to the source, and thus github access.

As for the validity of the chain, and getting in touch with bittrex, that's something you, as in CFC2 community, will have to decide and perform, and for the last days, the only person that answered was Samai.

And FWIW I hold no CFC2, so I'm most happy to defer to this community and CFC2 stakeholders.

Just manage, decide what you want and tell me!

edit: I've placed a warning on the explorer I'll remove it once dev reappears & resolves, or the community decides otherwise.

Explorer chain is not 100% trustable, I had to restrict peer connections or it was getting stuck as well.

Dev is MIA so far.

Thank you, but that doesn't solve the problem.  We will reopen the wallet when we get a working wallet that is able to sync the blockchain by itself.

thanks

It's always a pity when dev teams don't update their bounties to new coin prices.

I'd set up a multipool but not for 0.03508750 btc worth of coffeecoins Smiley
