Question: Should a portion of the unclaimed coins be made available for those that missed the swap?
Yes - We have enough to spare, even for late-comers.
No - Sufficient notice and time to complete the swap was given. It wouldn't be fair to those that were punctual.

OK I am lost here who, is who?

WTF is RevivalCoinGroup?

Who is re doing what wallet? How, when, where and why?

Be serenely  Wink

Wallet fix now and after update at least three nodes I'll add wallet link in OP.

Unless I missed something you seem to be "reviving" (or so you call it) a coin that isn't abandoned?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Somethings going on here and I certainly do not trust the story as its being told here.

Until we have some clarity I urge no one to download any new client Matory uploads to the OP.

It is important the opinion of each member of community and cannot be ignored anyone!

So, community! I need consultation:

1. I have working wallet when POS is fixed and POW will disable after 360,000 blocks. Now two nodes was updated and i'm ready to add download link.
If POS cann't working correctly after this fix - we fix again and again until then will work perfectly.
Type "agree" or "yes"  if you really agree with our actions and changes!

2. We can do nothing.
311xxx blocks problem, uncorrectly POS and price 3-5 sat return to you. Type "no" if you want leave everything as it was before changes.

Thank!

No need to be alarmed, bud - It's a paid collaboration. Necessary updates are being performed on CFC2 to get it where it needs to go. It's not abandoned, but still needs a capable party with dedicated time and resources than can put us back on track.

I'm not convinced too. Tell us your analysis when (I mean which exact block) the chain started to fork and why the Bittrex fork had occurred

Without figuring out what happened exactly at the time of fork, no fix is a good fix and fork can happen any time later

From what I've read so far, you don't seem to know the exact reason why POS couldn’t working correctly. How can we expect you will be able to make POS run smoothly?

And as Kelsey has pointed out who is the coder behind to make the changes? Any public profile can show us that we can trust him?

My a brief study of the fork is - the incident happened due to the insufficient number of employees wallets.
In 5 sept my wallet has only 3 (!!!) connections. It can be assumed that the network was  4 or 5 online wallets. Why so few wallets was online i don't know. Maybe peoples not believe in CFC2 anymore, and stoped  mining and sell his coins. More here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596562.msg8724549#msg8724549

Whatever it was one wallet hunger in 311293 blocks (I think is on 62.x.x.x) some wallets stop transfer data (added this IP in nodes?), while wallet who has solo mining continue work.  Maybe Bittrex wallet has in nodes only this hung wallet and stopped in 311293 block.  Focus on the following -  solo mining wallet continue work in this time. After this incident I started 3 wallets and they synced without any problem, also some users offered to share blockchain.
That such incidents are not repeated in - community must have online more wallets!

When Bittrex stopped wallet and the problem within three days was still not solved - two users contacted with me, because they know what I hold some CFC2 coins, and request to help. I contacted with coffecoin. Then you know.

It is now important to focus on the problem and solve it, my coder learn and fix problem, all expenses will be paid from my funds. Now wallet synced and online, and if community want - a open download link.
If no - that it can be. I'll down all wallets immediately  Grin

upd Now wallet have 21 connections!

upd2 Incident happened between 311293 and 311294 block. May this transaction is the reason  Grin https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cfc2/block.dws?311294.htm

This is a 2.3 MB block, which is not that large, but may indeed be slow to propagate for wallets that are on regular PC/Mac with slow network access (rather than servers).

I guess this means the CFC2 community should also decide whether they want to increase block interval to leave more time for propagation, or keep the speed but forbid large transactions and large blocks, otherwise if this was the cause of the fork, it could easily and unwillingly happen again.
Also if PoS resumes, large consolidation transactions will naturally become more frequent...

Also were the keys to the github account lost?

We can no longer get in contact with Orangecoindev - he has permissions on the CFC2 github, which is an entirely different build from CFC1.

20 sec is normal block time to POS. I propose at first time decide fork and POS problem and after overwrite if need.

Here is the download link to the Linux wallet:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wyj8hp9p22t52h2/CoffeeCoin2.0-Qt.zip?dl=0

Can you please send me some of the bounty so I can stake the coins? (I won't dump them on the exchange) Maybe 50 000 or so.
My Address: CMwTRz3FgxeGoH4C4uJLV6o8yZe9M2UGwc

I promise I’ll compile the next version of the wallet when it comes out and the rest of the bounty can be sent then.

From your prospective I chose 2.  (You word it like a blackmail of users, you take over or nothing).

Either too many private messages sent keeping everyone else in the dark, or you just took it on yourself to take over without keeping holders informed?

an unannounced (without community input) takeover, with a completely separate github is something to be alarmed about, especially when the takeoveree has an inconsistent story to what his supposed colleagues say.

the OP thread title (This coin is under the RevivalCoinGroup management) now sounds more like a centralised, self interested authority then an opensource community.

undiplomatic takeover at best, hostile at worst, from a self proclaimed (from his link) expert in public relations  Roll Eyes
