Yes, I saw that. But the blockchain says otherwise. It clearly shows several blocks mined before the announcement. And one block mined 12 seconds after the announcement (too soon for anyone else), which went into the same wallet as the next several coins mined. Dev is sometimes evasive, but not one to lie. Hence why I'd like him to answer.

I dont even know whats wrong about that, as long as its after the announcement. The dev had all the work with coding the coin so I think its his right to start mining asap.

I would setup my miner first and then type up the announcement for an official launch with one hand.  Who cares if the dev got a few blocks head start?  At least it's nothing compared to most of the other coins out there. Plus, if I remember correctly from hashcoin. The dev doesn't even have a great miner. I believe it's under 1MH/s or something like that. Anyways, look at darkcoin which mined like 50% of there coins in the first 24 hours.  It didn't affect there pricing.  I'm holding onto my dreams until it reaches  Good luck dreamers!!

@cryptohunter - I wouldnt go as far as saying they are retarded, just not as experienced....We need some more X11 experienced devs to setup a pool ASAP

@Burninj - Last time I am going to repeat it, because it gets really honestly annoying. I didn't get even one block instamined or premined, whoever was the first here when I launched probably had a nice rig and got most of those blocks because I tried to mine 5 minutes after I released for a fair start but my small 300 KH/sec didnt manage to find anything...Unfortunately I didn't get any :/ Thus I am taking donations for bounties Burninj. I would hope the person that was able to get a lot of those blocks would be willing to donate to help the coin itself with the community, that would be the smart thing to do...

1. You can rent high hashrate by the hour very cheap, you don't need your own rig, and anybody planning an instamine would do that.
2. Darkcoin gets away with it because it has a differentiator (including an out-of-date library in the source code doesn't count)

Ok. I've never rented a rig so not an expert on it.  But when you rent a rig, do they allow you to solo?  Since there were no WORKING pools up until like over 4 hours after launch.

someone wrote in the troll box of poloniex total volume for DRM is 220btc so far today, that's pretty impressive, and yes if a coin is doing really good sometimes they fast track them straight into the exchange, to get in on the action.
