Yes, post fork hashrate is down 80%.  Should be getting huge payments , my 10k on v7 should be paying out $19 a day. and yes hashrate should be converted to V7 immediately.

They should, but they almost certainly won't.

They STILL can't even manage to have automated payments on time.

At this point I highly doubt they're even have/had GPUs mining XMR. But if they do, they'll definitely mine V7 for themselves and pay us as if they were mining non-monero cryptonight coins for us.

I'm glad I didn't invest much, and honestly, I had very low expectations but this is a joke. And genesis is supposed to be the best cloud mining service.

meanwhile i ROI on my hashx investment in 2 weeks.... it can be done, but its up to the people in charge to make an effort. then again think about it, all these cloud companies fees eat your contract and they get to keep mining with the equipment at a profit after you paid for the equipment. oh well, cloud mining was good in theory but ill keep my home miners from now on thank you. im not totally giving up on genesis ,if they can make it so we can mine on our own pool of choice so that whatever happens its your decisions that determine the outcome then they will certainly be the one's to be invested in. I personally will not spend another dime on any cloud based anything until i can mine what i want where i want.

I have a few question marks myself though...
The more I'm beginning to understand cloud mining, the more I see pro's and con's, and the more less obvious things I see. One of the things is, does GM really mine Megacoin, or do they mine Bitcoin through the most profitable course, calculate the appropriate amount of Megacoin anyone should receive and buy that, and keep whatever's left to themselves. Kinda like GAW does with their hashlet's. They have different names, for different pools, but in reality they all mine the most profitable pool and the equivalent of each pool is payed out to those who "mine" at those pools. If a hashlet would mine at Clever and make 1BTC per day, but in reality that hashlet is mining at GAW's Zenpool where it actually mines 1.5 BTC, then GAW pay's the 1 BTC to the customer and has .5 BTC profit. Same sort of thing might apply here at GM. If mining at a Megacoin pool would make 100 Megacoin, but by mining the most profitable coin you mine enough to buy let's say 150 Megacoin, then it's a smart thing to do so. But is that happening?
So you see, I think there is a market for pure coin mining where hashrate is aimed at the exact coin of choice, just for those who wish to invest in the strength and future of "their" coin. That market may be small as most people can't say two sentences about cloud mining without mentioning ROI at least once. But that market is there.  It's what I'm trying to realize actually.

Older Genesis Mining contracts have upkeep equal of 0,0004$ per gh/s and the new ones 0,00028$  per gh/s on open ended SHA 256 contracts.
They also just added direct BCH mining so there is a choice which is important because of ever growing difficulty.

I am mining with GM since the beginning of July 2016 and all the contracts are still active.

I cannot say a bad world about them except the fact they are way behind with tickets. This is a result of a security breach which happened about 9 months ago.
In my case I did receive probably about 99.9% of what I should receive. This is a great result if you think that they have to take care of 2 million customers.

This is just a matter of luck, difficulty and coin price. They use different mining pools just to diversify. They want to be decentralized as much as possible.

Minergate gives half of what we should win, Genesis mining is terrible because of those missing paiements, and Just Mining... is the only one which worth it... but it's barely profitable... It's finally better to trade directly or to mine yourself !

My opinion is just away from this. They are scammers. I have an account in this . Opened the account three months back and received only two payouts from them. Last month I didnt receive any payout from them. So be careful when investing in Genesis mining.

GM just missed BCH payout to my wallet yesterday (16.05.2018 - payout should be sent on 17.05.18).
Unfortunately "view transcation" option shows an error 404 with such description:

"It seems like we couldn't find what you were looking for neither on
the Bitcoin blockchain, nor on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, nor on the Ethereum blockchain 😞"

At the moment waiting for reply from VIP service.
Will update you once I know more.

BTW today my payout went through as it should. Yesterday they had some maintenance and this might be the reason.

Just got a single XMR payout 3 days ago after 2 months of nothing, even though I had payments every couple of days before. The way they handled the Monero fork is just another public display of scammy behaviour.
