There are approximately 33.8 more hours of PoW mining. That means by around 9:30 PM EST tomorrow (5/16) there will be no more PoW blocks left to mine. Hurry up and get your VeriCoin while you still can!!

i have moved to ipominer due to the fork nevertheless, testbug (hero pool operator) is a good man and contributed a lot for Vericoin. if hero pool is fixed, i will move back.

I lost over 1500 coins that were definitely mined before the fork. no sign of them anywhere. I guess a fork in the coin is a good excuse to lose coins Everyone is saying this is such a good coin but I have never run into this many forks and wallet problems with any other coin. You want people to spread the hash around...but to where...as there is only 1 or 2 pools up and running at a time. The pools that are running and the devs are not forthcoming with updates as to what pools are on the right fork and working Other coins do not have these problems, what is causing the huge difference here? The devs have tried to get things fixed, but this remains one huge cluster****.

We have had enormous hash coming at us claiming 51% on day 2, it's the gift and curse of having this much attention. In about 30 hrs we will be in PoS and then the popularity will only help, not hurt us as well. We are already working 18hrs a day or so, we can't keep track of all the pools all the time.

How do we monitor them all and tell everyone which one they can mine on? The pool ops have to shut down their stratum when they figure out there's a problem so they don't contribute to a bad fork which in turns pulls more wallets offline. We've been adding checkpoints into the source code every few hours and every time we notice a fork. As far as I know, ipominer.com has been unforked since they started mining so feel free to point your hashes there.
