Hey Patrick, is there any more detail on some of the recent innovations you guys are working on? I'm salivating in anticipation of any whitepapers etc.

We aren't going to release any more information at this time but I will tell you that we expect to get approval for our SMS Gateway app (the wallet) to go live very soon. Then we will open it to beta.

I note the donation address hit 100k, but has had debits and credits and is currently -15k from 100k. Are the debits from staking? Any updates? Would be good to hear something official.

I see you were testing the SMS gateway on Twitter today, any posts here would be good as I'm sure there are more eyeballs refreshing this thread.

It looks like we did hit the requested bounty. Thanks guys. The wallet is staking and will be until we're going to do large scale tests. We will move it to an exchange and out to hide the new address of the ring node we are testing on (don't want any prying eyes). Then we will run tests and release a beta wallet.

We were just testing our international gateways. We will launch in Beta in the USA first. Then we will move out. This will happen very soon.

Just a reminder, we are looking to raise some VRC for our new dev: VDbSLcgkVZSeRQyK3YwMFzPaLHEXWgLHFi

Please donate if you can. He holds almost nothing right now so this will provide him some incentive to work faster! :-p

This is gonna be huge, I will hold...

there are still really spread fluctuations in the  price and that troubles me  from 13k to 9.5k on mintpal ,8.5k on bittrex (satoshi) and that on minutes i wish for the best but i would like to see more stable uprisings or downfalls

Theyre only small corrections in an uptrend. On bittrex there are  other coins being pumped, so ppl keep taking profits from VRC to try to panic catch the other pumps. VRC will steadily climb no worries.

VER hit 13,000 on Mintpal earlier - It went as low as 8,850 but is already back up to 9300 now. A correction occured because CRY was being pumped up - but now that is heading down HARD (from 68,000 to 58,000 now).  EDIT: CRY now 52,000 2 minutes later.

That money will quickly flow back in VER and we will push towards 40K.

Im looking for a long on VRC in this area or the ~8500 area.

So far there are still some sellers and might head lower.

Will wait and watch price action.

If volume dries up, price will head lower.

Always does.

So the innovation here is the dynamic interest rate. The way it works is that the interest rate scales according to network stake. If there's a higher amount of staked coins, the interest rate goes up. That means the more "invested" you are in the coin, the more interest you will make.

This essentially gives incentive for you to hold your coin in your wallet rather than keeping it on an exchange, gives you reason to tell your friends to acquire some coin and keep it staking, etc. because it helps both you and them. It's the only coin that provides additional reward for keeping the coin.
This part is good and got me interested. I am an investor, not a trader.

It also provides a reasonable interest rate compared to Blackcoin (1%) and other PoS coins (10%+ interest). Most stable economies have higher inflation than 1% so assuming the coin's value keeps steady it makes more sense to put it in FIAT and earn traditional interest. With the dynamic scaling interest rate, you're likely to make 2-2.5% interest which is much more in line with mature economies.
This part turned me off. Here's why:
Coin devs need to understand that 20% APR is not attractive for a long term investment, when MINT can lose/gain over 100% in one day.
We are NOT in real life. We are in Cryptoland. You don't expect the price of cookie to triple in one day (or even to goes up by 10%). Hence the low interest.
In Cryptoland, rules are different. Coins using real-life interests for crypto miss the point.

So, relaunch or clone with a higher stake, or just live your pump and dump life.

I've been mining for 24h and haven't received anything yet. My address is correct.

I've received payouts, tho not in the last 24 hours. Remember, the pool is currently in alpha testing... there WILL be problems. The dev said there was an issue with the auto payments yesterday, which he corrected (hopefully) today. He said that we'd receive those missing coins with the next auto-payout (if all goes well).

This upmove here is a false move.

Its rising on low volume.

I am avoiding buying here until I see more volume.

Little orders being filled.

Supposed to be double payouts today as a result of nothing yesterday.
