System reboot helped me on 3 rigs Is it normal that two out of four gpus are stuck at 99.99% for half a day ? the other two are finishing projects and starting new things from 0% but those two just stay at 99.99% forever Didnt find a fix yet. But read here. Maybe it will help you find a solution or get closer to one. https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=21438

Try rebooting your system.

How do you know how fast the folding at home client is running? how many coins should i expect on an 7850?
also how do you mine with ASICs? Where do you intensity, etc. as normally when i mine my mouse is slow. I am mining now but i can still work on my PC
thanks

Mine updated today as well. It seems it takes some time for the wu to be validated, but everything seems to be working so that is very good. Now I am waiting for the coins to hit my wallet. It would be nice if the payout was several times per day instead of once every 24h. My stats on cryptobullion : TOP 50 FOLDING RATE PPD Rank User Name PPD CUR/Day (est) 1101 superdude2 0 0.000 My stats on folding team page " 41 superdude2 1372384 98 Dont worry about potential coins you might be loosing/chaos/its not working/help/omg i didnt get my ppd. Cryptobullion simply doesnt show points at this time. Will however show in team list on cryptobullion yesterdays points. And it does pay out just fine on daily basis. If you want to see if your contibuting /getting ppd. : Either click on blue number/team number :224497 in your f@h program. Of just go to : http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=224497In both cases about an hour after you have finished your first folding assignment, (stanford page updates every hour or so)

Wow this is the type of coin I was hoping exists!! I am a biochemist by training and I love the idea of using decentralized computation power to solve scientific problems. For this coin, the process of protein folding is independent of securing the blockchain? Would it ever be possible to integrate the computational task into the process of securing the blockchain such that the two processes are one and the system is more energy efficient? (I'm new to crypto so I don't fully understand the limitations of a blockchain)
Also I see that protein folding is the current computational task, would molecular dynamics simulations be a possible task?
Oh and also, where can I get some of these coins!? My rig is not up yet :/

But I don't know if this is a good result. I don't have reference values, so maybe you are able to get more PPD.

ASIC -> standard mining in one of the sha-pools CPU -> folding with the folding-pool

ASIC mining is for securing the block chain. There are various pools for it posted on the homepage. CPU mining works but you wouldn't use a CPU for securing the block chain you would use it for folding. A decent CPU can get like 1/6 the PPD of a mid-high end GPU like a 7950 but it's up to you decide if it's worth it.

Is there any tutorial for remote control, because I can't manage to conect to my workers even with firewall off Might sound silly.. but why try to setup remote control f@h client...?Wouldnt it be easier to just have something like teamviewer on all rigs? (i already had that on my rig...works just find for the occational checkup...) How do you mine with ASIC? Is there any point mining with CPU?
f@h doesnt support asic's. But you can send those hashes to the mining-part of the coin. And get a share of the coins that way. Cpu can fold. for example. My Amd x4 phenom II 955 yields about 5k PPD. Its not a lot compared to 110k high end gpu can easily get. But still counts in the end. Also, cpu's get different workunits then gpus.. (worth less points obviously) But still manage te complete couple a day. So either way contributing to a cure
