Also make sure your .conf file is Sync.conf for some reason it seems to make a difference even tho Windows shouldn't be case sensitive.

so it seems this coin came to maturity really really fast, if you don't want to see wallets slowing down the syncing process, i suggest adding more masternodes, this is probably happening because too many wallets with big volumes are staking at the moment all together and raising PoS difficulty.

same thing happened to another hybrid coin, you don't need everyone staking at the same and leaving their wallets open 24/7, we're gonna need some PoS parameters from the dev in order to help things run smoothly.

Why isn't the MINTPAL situation resolved ?

It drags the coin down, people who want get their coins out, can't and they selling to be able to do so...

since 4 or 5 people got their wallets working, you can not say "the Wallet and chain is working fine !!!"

It is not working for the vast majority (probably 99% the world) . that is why the vast majority can't get their coins out or buy /sell or anything.

So you will see exchanges freezing this con again as that is what they are seeing no working wallet on their side too.

You gotta see it through the eyes of the rest  of the people...not just the eyes of 1 or 2 % who are skilled or lucky  and have working wallets.

I have just downloaded and installed the new flash wallet
it gets stuck at some point
i closed and reopened the wallet and now its synced and
my second stake is now staking

It seems there may be a problem in the wallet/S
but it gets sorted if you close and reopen them

BEFORE INSTALLING WALLETS SOMEWHERE SAFE

Did you try that bootstrap trick?

If you're on Windows, the executable should be 24,373,760 bytes (or 24,375,296 bytes for the "flavoured" one). Is that the one you are using?

might take up to 30 days to see something.. you know what ? it is worth while for me (not pointing finger at you) to restudy POS and blocks chain and how it works in general... to be honest right now I don't know why 30 days and why there is element of randomness to it..

completely understand, you want to feel "secure" in the foundations! COMPLETELY understand rest assured professionals developed this coin and are running the operation.. it could be anything even your cable router at home.. chaos theory... catastrophe theory, maybe fuzzy fractals too  (no not the last one)

I think the most important and simple thing have to do now is update the wallet number.
Many people think their wallet is the last version but it doesn't actually.
Please update the wallet version number now, so we can ask everyone using the 1.0.0.0 wallet to download the new version.

ps. for those people who are stuck at block 8234, I think you are not using the last version of wallet.

A bunch of people have downloaded the bootstrap...can anyone tell me if its work or not? lol (it should work fine)  You could also just rename bootstrap.dat to blk0001.dat in the appdata/sync folder but just putting bootstrap.dat there then launching the client should be sufficient.
