Everyone with less than 1.0 SYNC will be selling soon if the PoS is only for those with at least 1.0 SYNC.  IMHO, I don't get the 1% PoS rate with a 1000 coins?  It sounds like the bulk of people either cannot receive any PoS, or will not receive much at all.  So, why would 1% be worth it, for anyone but the top handful of owners that accumulate the bulk of these coins?  There will be little value to anyone else to hold them? And, in the end, little value for anyone if this coin ends up with a small distribution. Why wouldn't the PoS be set at 100%? What would be wrong with that? At least if you double your coins for holding them, it would be incentive…there's little incentive for the majority of coin owners to keep for PoS?  ;-(   Sorry, I don't see the value there?

I have less than 1 Sync in my wallet and according to it it is staking right now...

Do you mind letting us know how many SYNC do you have in the wallet?
Are you on MAC / Windows (don't see this as a factor)
How many confirmations you have got on the last transaction before staking started?

Thanks!

around 0,6...

windows...and i don't know now..didn't check...and I have more transactions since then...but I think it the last one one before i enabled the staking was above 1000 confirmations...

also..I remember when i tried to stake few days before...the wallet was saying that my coins weren't old enough...

and now my wallet is back ''out of sync''....with 15 connections...18 now
Can't see the last block in the chain anymore...however the green arrow for staking is still on and expected reward is in 2 hr...Huh

also...i did mistake a small transaction coming in for a staked block...it was the rest of coins that I got from the mining pool...
sorry for that..wasn't expecting it and size, also not waiting for any confirmations, therefore no icon mistaken me....

I was away due to unexpected circumstance, I am observing the blockchain before releasing any update to speed up the minting.

So, many hours later....

I have been observing the blockchain as well as everyone in here.

Not sure, but my best guess: with POS only very slow new blocks are found (we see a new block every other 2 or 3 hours)
The devs are in USA timezone, so will be awake soon!

I hope they can give an answer fast.

1. we need more nodes
2. we need stake confirmation times reduced massively

Thank you for replying very quick.

My coins are not mature enough and not staking, but now like you,  the wallet does not sync.

how can be created a sync node?

the best way would be to hire VPS and set them up on that.

i think we are going to need to fork. it is my summise that some parts of the code are going to need rewritten and to get it running correctly a fork and a new wallet may be needed, although I hope I'm wrong.

Does anyone know the answer as to why coins are still classed as immature?

I realize that I might not start receiving any stake for a while but surely coins that have been in my wallet from the start should now be classed as mature or have I missed something?

Then you must have missed the updated wallet

No I have the updated wallet unless one got released in the last 12 hours?

Are you on Mac? Or did you not wipe and re-download the blockchain?

I'm on Windows.

I've deleted and re-downloaded the block chain about 3 times.

My Sync balance is above the minimum needed

Not sure what else to try at least I know it's not just me with this problem

the ''Out of sync'' might be caused by the speed that blocks are found...

I think I already saw something like that before in another coin....

it's ''out of sync'' between the new blocks....but I think it will update the blocks and chain as it goes....it just tooooo ooooo oooo sloooooow

block size is increasing:
