kindly open firewall port 24241 on your modems or firewalls.
In this way we will have more active nodes and this will speed up the block generation.

If everything is fine, you will note that your connections will be more then 8-15 (mine sync-qt wallet is a node and actually it has 60 connections)

Guys,  this is the first rare PoS coin having 1000 coins. We are going to change the 1% interest rate to 100% in order to make PoS blocks generate faster. I hope next update will solve the slow PoS blocks issue.

Really?? awesome!!!!!!! that was my only negative about this coin only 1% interest

Do not see anything good. Assume an average each user 0.5 sync. Then he will receive 100% * 0.5/365 = 0.13 coins per day .... Or my math is not correct, or do not understand why you're happy. The chip of this coin misrepresented that little coins and this is the first PoS with so many coins

Math is a bit wrong Smiley
100 % interest in a year if you have 0.5 sync = 0.5 sync interest in a year time

0.5 / 365 = 0.00136 sync every day. Not that many.

it's actually more likely that my windows wallets will act as nodes, as those machines are never switched off, but my mac is powered off every night.

Yes you are right! I just woke up, my math is not correct. 100 percent is more than 2 times.

My windows wallet was stuck at block 8000

Now i deleted my whole roaming folder, except the wallet.dat and sync.conf.. a fresh "catching up" goes to block 8000 and is stuck there with 8 blocks remaining and 8 connections.
Anyone with any idea on how to get catch last 8 blocks? Why is it stuck there...

My conf:

port=42421
server=1
listen=1
addnode=107.170.124.180
addnode=192.241.240.216
addnode=107.170.159.98

the ''Out of sync'' might be caused by the speed that blocks are found...

I think I already saw something like that before in another coin....

it's ''out of sync'' between the new blocks....but I think it will update the blocks and chain as it goes....it just tooooo ooooo oooo sloooooow

yes

we would need to have more nodes.

Try this:

1) open on your firewall port 24241
2) edit your %appdata%/Sync/sync.conf   file in this way:

port=42421
server=1
listen=1

3) launch your sync-Qt wallet

Now you should be a node

I don't think the number of nodes is an issue now. I'm connected to more than 60 nodes

if you are connected to more then 8-15 nodes you actually act as a node and your wallet is contributing to sync network stability Wink
Like mine Wink

Most probably you firewall port 24241 is opened or you are on a windows machine without firewall directly connected to the WAN

My connection is very tight, but I'm routing everything through StrongVPN Wink

Oh removing addnode=107.170.124.180 fixed it.

Something is wrong with that node?

Had the same issues... just leave it open. It will work but it does take some time.
We will need a fix for that. (As it seems, it's already coming)

You know you could make it 100% then reduce by 5 % per year

i,e

100%
95%
90%

until ultimately 5%
