I'm sure the final version will have the high-gloss heavy-weight paper that Matthew was talking about. Why would they waste money on printing on high-quality paper for a sample copy of it?
Also, what do you mean by "explicit ads"? I don't want pron in my mag... and will probably cancel my order if that is the case.

FYI
- I do not know anyone named Bob working in any capacity with Bitcoin Magazine - we have not sent it into print just yet - we have not printed any samples just yet - should we start a fiction section one day, I'll let kludge know.

Lol. Once again, I was proven too gullible.

I think you're confusing Explicit with Illicit?

I think you're confusing Explicit with Illicit? It doesn't matter, since it was all a lie anyway. But... Explicit = pron. Illicit = illegal stuff.

Solicit = ____________ I think I missed this one when I took the SAT. Speaking of SAT, I got a perfect 800 on the math and a 722 on the verbal, back in '78. I took the test at IU in Bloomington, IN. Afterwards, my dad and I went fishing at Brown County. It was a Saturday, and I remember solving a Martin Gardner's puzzle in the then current Asimov's Science Fiction magazine in route to the not-to-be honey hole, but I digress. ~Bruno~

Illicit = illegal stuff. explicit = clearly laid out, made obvious -- "explicitly stated" Certainly, there are different meanings of the word. But I know when someone says "Explicit content", they mean content that is sexual or nude in nature. It's definition 2b here: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/explicit

Is this now going to be labeled as the May 2012 issue, sort of how it was scooted forward from being February to March so that when it "arrived" in February it would seem fresher?
|
Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Please, please, please quit requesting changes! Do you have any idea how long it takes to have the layout changed for something like that? April has five letters, whereas May has only three, therefore the whole front cover would have to be rearranged due to adding that extra white space. And if you change the cover, the images inside will need rearranging as well, then the content to coincide with the new images, as well. Hell, Bitcoin Magazine is already further behind since Matthew decided to include LadyBytes as the centerfold. It took two days before the illustrators even began to get bored of her image and moved on to the other 98 pages. Therefore, I stress: No new changes! Unless, of course, this becomes a June issue, whereupon I'll delete this post, for four (letters) is much closer to five than thee is. (My apologies to Matthew for injecting this friendly banter)~Cackling Bear~

I just ordered 2 issues as a store of value of course I will read in one, but sell them later, in the distant future, when Bitcoin propelled cyborg monkeys rule the world, as "untouched" original copies!
