Has anyone implemented dcrypt for node-multi-hashing? I can't see it on the official repos and node-stratum-pool is not aware of it.

I still can't believe in my unluck. 70khash/s and now the 2.day of solomining. Found nothing. I must make a terrible mistake for slimminer not to work or something wrong with this coin/slimminer.  This is not the first time I solomine, I have solomined a dozen of coins, even the infamous difficult MRO/QCN, but this is the first time I experience something like this. |

git clone https://github.com/siklon/slimminer slimminer-pool
cd slimminer-pool
./autogen.sh
./configure CFLAGS="-O3 -march=native"
make -j4
strip minerd
./minerd -o stratum+tcp://77.237.251.163:6666 -u <Your SLM ADDRESS> -p x -q
EDIT: Installing the dependencies to build the miner on clean ubuntu should be: sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -y install git automake make
sudo apt-get -y install build-essential libcurl4-openssl-dev git

Please help, noob to wallet problems. The wallet doesn't sync. It was built from the git repo on arch linux. I've added the "addnodes" to the example config file and renamed it slimcoin.conf, but how do i get the qt wallet to use it? built with upnp etc.

You wouldn't - it uses a different hashing algorithm than Bitcoin does, and all the SHA256 ASICs meant for mining are for the Bitcoin-style hashing algorithm. The same applies to e.g. Scrypt ASICs, which are generally geared toward Litecoin-style hashing algorithms. Right now, CPU is the only way to go. |
