I found two blocks today with 1 miner i7 4770
2 small blocks, so i think they are both PoW (10.77 and 13.38)
When a PoB block is found, how does it look like?

If you're using the Qt wallet, a PoB block will show up on the home screen with a different icon than a PoW block. I haven't figured out how to tell from RPC, though.

I found 1 POB block. It has some little fire sign.

Hmm...I just copied my wallet from an old system to the new one. My balance is shown, but is it possible that burned coins are lost? { "Net Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000, "Effective Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000, "Immature Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000, "Decayed Burnt Coins" : 0.00000000 }, { "General Info" : "", "nBurnBits" : "1d05f78e", "nEffectiveBurnCoins" : "35989222776", "Formatted nEffectiveBurnCoins" : "35989.222776" }

If you're using getblock, check if the nonce value is zero. Probably not the only way, maybe not even the best way

so how would one mine this coin with sha asics/ i dont get it no info on how to actually mine (pow) the coin to get the coins to burn
You wouldn't - it uses a different hashing algorithm than Bitcoin does, and all the SHA256 ASICs meant for mining are for the Bitcoin-style hashing algorithm. The same applies to e.g. Scrypt ASICs, which are generally geared toward Litecoin-style hashing algorithms. Right now, CPU is the only way to go. okay so what exactly would i do thanks for telling me how not to ... tried slim miner with the sample command and it just flashed closed. the pool wouldnt connect and i dont think i know what to do i got cpus gpus asics and fpga but the one thing i guess im lacking is a masters in computer programing. so i guess pow is just for dev and the rest of us have to buy coins to destroy in the hopes that we might generate a pob block and maybe get more coins? idk but i like new stuff i just wish someone(dev) would explain what to do not hating on this coin cause i like the idea just wish i was invited to the party

You should open up a command console before running the command, so that you can check what it's actually saying. If you're using a batch file (.bat), just add " | pause" after the line, that will also keep the window open until you press a key. At least, I'm assuming you're on Windows, and using the slimminer fork (self-compiled?) mentioned above. If you're not using that fork, the executables in the distribution from the first post won't work with the pool. You can still solo mine with them, though. Have a read through the posts, but probably the easiest is to run 'slimcoin-qt.exe', then go to the 'Help' menu, choose 'Debug window', open the 'Console' tab, and enter the command "setgenerate true". It should then start mining away as soon as it has synchronized with the network. Note that finding blocks can take a very long time. If you're not on Windows, then I have no idea what 'flash closed'
Off-topic bit: not hating on this coin cause i like the idea just wish i was invited to the party
There are sites that track coin launches (e.g. http://www.cryptolaunch.net/ and https://www.altcoincalendar.info/calendar ), if you're interested in always trying to mine the latest coins. They tend to be incomplete, so scouring the forums for announcements is probably your best bet (but takes up more time). Gets a bit crazy, though - just the other day there were at least 6 new coins launched. Figuring out which ones are worth the bother (unless you're always going to just mine for a few hours, then dump asap) is a whole 'nother subject which I'm certainly not well-versed in.

Temporary pool : stratum+tcp://77.237.251.163:6666 You must use my slimminer fork : https://github.com/siklon/slimminer./minerd --url=stratum+tcp://77.237.251.163:6666 --userpass=(SLMADDRESS):x -t (THREADS) Nice! I want to mine there, but noticed that http://77.237.251.163/tbs shows almost half of the shares are invalid and no block has been found yet. Maybe someone is trying to mine there with the wrong miner? I will continue solomining for now I think... I join it But all is booooo... Hello. I test 30 min but I had a 100% invalid shares. I used windows 7 x64 and download CPUminer ver 2.40. Could you help me, please? Thank you in advanced. Antuam As I said, you must use my slimminer fork or you will get 100% invalid shares. I also can confirm that the pool is working but I had to do a clean clone form the https://github.com/siklon/slimminer These are the instructions I used for building minerd on linux: cd git clone https://github.com/siklon/slimminer slimminer-pool cd slimminer-pool ./autogen.sh ./configure CFLAGS="-O3 -march=native" make -j4 strip minerd ./minerd -o stratum+tcp://77.237.251.163:6666 -u <Your SLM ADDRESS> -p x -q
EDIT: Installing the dependencies to build the miner on clean ubuntu should be: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get -y install git automake make sudo apt-get -y install build-essential libcurl4-openssl-dev git

Please compile static linux and win binaries, both x64 and x86 and ask the dev to update the first post.

Great work Mumus! Can you compile a x86 version ? Linux static build would be nice as well I've tried before but it gives me some errors that I don't really understand. Don't know if my environment is the problem or something in the miner. Will try it again later today. Static build is also not something that I'm not good at. I never succeed to build a static miner or coin daemon. Sorry
