Hi, I've just compiled this miner and I'm testing solo mining against the latest slimcoin-qt.exe release running on testnet. All the the shares are rejected from the minerd (boooo). Only if i'm mining with the wallet can generate coins. I had similar problem running on the real network. I should have found a couple of blocks with minerd but all blocks were rejected. Anybody with similar problem?

Congratulations to whoever had the brilliant idea of having SLM listed on one of the biggest exchanges when it wasn't even a week old. Fool-proof method of destroying a coin.

I found my first block of 25 coins with around 100 SLM burned, after 3 burning days.. So already 25% ROI

Lets fork it again so we can enjoy some more easy diff. How about lets not. Some folks must just have to much 'money to burn'. "Greed is bad, very very bad". - Hopefully good progress is being made with a PoW pool though. I can see this coin becoming quite valuable in time with its fast reducing money supply. Rarity vs scarcity - supply and demand and all that. Guessing that well over 1/2 to 2/3rd's of the total money supply will be 'burned' into the either that is PoB.

"Formatted nEffectiveBurnCoins" : "40709.543914" I've got over 10% of the amount above and only get 5-6 PoB blocks/day. PoB is not so profitable... OR the dev was wrong saying its the same mining PoB from one box or from 100 boxes. We still dont know/can not check how many PoB blocks are spawned every day. Is it a fixed or a random number ?

I am placing another 0.05BTC bounty for rpcthreads function. Bounty will be released to the person whos commit is accepted by the dev on github.
User ltcnim can confirm i've already paid out 0.1BTC for a static linux miner.

I believe that a new PoB block can only be generated after a new PoW block, or possibly a PoS block. Then the % 'weighted' chance of PoB. I have just under 1000 'burnt' coins now in total myself. Not sure if I will continue burning coins much past 1250 or 2500 max. depending on the difficulty increases when a PoW pool is online. This will give my wallet a reasonable % chance at PoB generation whilst I continue to mine PoW and allow the wallet to effectively switch over to PoS in 30 days and onwards. I'm unsure for long-term, but I don't think I'm prepared to burn many more coins over the short-term in this experiment, which may of course be a long-term mistake. Although this could make for a nice retirement fund perhaps.

Now, that's a real yin-yang coin, you constantly facing the dilemma: to burn (to get more minting power) or not to burn (to keep more coins)

Now, that's a real yin-yang coin, you constantly facing the dilemma: to burn (to get more minting power) or not to burn (to keep more coins) I've had no such dilemma - i dumped 12btc worth so far to ensure profit. I will now be burning until the price on exchange recovers.
