My new NXT ID not showing up in Explorer  so i have to make transaction for that or what ? new NXT address won't work in this Giveaway ?? My NXT id is also not showing up in my block explorer , I think atleast one transaction is needed to show up ID in explorer. Just a quick question , if my NXT ID doesn't show up in block explorer , even then can I receive my stake ? I did an experiment and you can receive NXT assets without having NXT in your account, but I think to verify your account is valid, we need a positive balance so your account number is 'known' to the NXT blockexplorer's, and therefore able to be validated by our registration webapp. If we can't validate your NXT address then it will become a problem as we might end up sending Kora assets into the abyss of 'dark NXT'. I'll need to pay ~3K in NXT for transaction fees, so we really need to know every stakeholder has a valid NXT address before we send the Kora asset tokens. |

Also when registering NXT account choose a pass phrase wisely at least 30 characters including all possible chars like #$%&0 etc.. Your pass phrase is your account and if you forget it you are fucked so write it down somewhere on paper. Good luck. |

Great advice! Thanks NXT uses a brain wallet, so you MUST have a long random pass phrase with uppercase, lowercase and other characters. As freigeist mentioned, you need to make an outgoing transaction to give your account a public key which ensures maximum cryptographic protection (256 bit rather than 64 bit). Register an alias, or send a message, or send to another account. Please, if you are new to NXT, and do nothing else, do these two things to secure your funds. |

May I recommend that nobody here purchase NXT from polo unless you buy at least 10. They have a min. transfer of 10 nxt, and charge 1nxt for a fee.
The nxt faucet node was out of sync for the last 24h, but looks like it is up now.

Why not use NHZ or NFD? They have the same Asset Exchange functionality?

A valid suggestion for NFD, but I'm not sure NHZ has an asset exchange up & running yet. We had already announced our plan to launch Kora tokens on the NXT AE before the NFD resurrection was completed. I think for a future project NFD would be an excellent choice, and they have a very large number of users. Kora is happy to continue with NXT AE! |
