OK LADIES LAST ADVICESELL YOUR CLAMS NOW, THE PARTY IS OVERSUB 0.001 BY THE END OF NEXT WEEK, MARK MY WORDSREALLY, I'M NOT KIDDING Lets make a deal. If CLAM is not 0.001 by the end of next week then you disappear from here and stop posting here. You stop the fudding and preferably disappear from this forum in general. Looks like a real good chance to prove yourself and show others you are just not full of hot air. Accepted.IF THIS SHITCOIN IS NOT BELOW 0.001 BY NEXT SUNDAY, I PROMISE TO DISSAPPEAR FROM THIS SHITCOIN THREAD FOREVERAnyway, I'm not gonna dissapear of the forum. My mission is to support clean, valuable and innovative projects, and to crash shitcoins like this one. And of course, to have good profits by doing so. A PROMISE IS A PROMISE, AND I NEVER WAS, NEVER BE, AND NEVER WILL BE A TRAITORPD: Remember to sell, it's your last chance to enjoy these prices. Thank you. If what you say is correct then we will see some serious action in the coming day's. If it is not then this project moves on as it has and everything will go back to normal. Leaving the thread will be fine, and im pretty sure everyones fine with that. Let the games begin! I'll watch with interest. One problem - I'm seeing "end of next week", and "next Sunday" thrown around. How about some dates. To me, "next Sunday" as it's being used here is January 24. So the game ends one minute after 23:59 (poloniex time?) on Sunday, January 24, right? One more thing - is VultureFund another name for BCX, or is he just this year's winner of the BCX cosplay competition? One more more thing - As VultureFund points out about himself, he is a good guy on a good mission, not unlike Mother Theresa or Donald Trump or Ross Ulbricht. But can he please stop using such shitty language? It will complicate the canonization process. Correct, I meant one minute after January 24 at 23:59 poloniex time. I dont know WTF is BCX or what are you talking about. And yes, I am a very good guy, but only with the good ones. Sorry for my english, in my country we studied only a couple years english language, so my vocabulary is very short. I say "shit" multiple times cause I don't know any more disgusting words, and google doesn't help... You should see what I see everyday to understand, lot of misery. This scammy world is giving me an opportunity to profit, but most of this profits go to a good cause, I promise. Luckily, by the end of this month, our patrimony will go to a next dimension. You know why? Cause our golden girl will be born. Yes, you know which coin am talking about. You just cannot imagine what I can do with a single BTC in my country.

Posted March 8th, 2015.... sighsEDIT: For the record, it appears the Cryptsy 'hack' is claimed to have occurred prior to above issue report.

Can I use setstakesplitthreshold command in console to prevent my blocks from splitting below the size I want them to split?
No, but you can put: splitsize=10 in clam.conf in the same folder as your CLAM wallet.dat and it will only split to size 10 or more. You need to restart for changes to that file to take effect. Ok, thx Dooglus.

I didn't use their wallet for a long time, but from what I remember you do something like: 1) import/export 2) unencrypted 3) look for the bit which says "priv" 4) go to the clam debug console, and "importprivkey XXX" where XXX is the "priv" part of the unencrypted export

so if I understand clam PoS correctly, you don't need an actual stake to stake? it's just running an empty wallet to start?

CLAM uses Proof-Of-Working-Stake. It still requires a 'stake' to 'stake'; but: - Age doesn't increase likelihood
- The reward is a consistent 1 CLAM per block as opposed to 'interest' on the stake
These two changes make a CLAM something roughly similar to a unit of hashing power in a proof-of-work system.

Your chance of staking per unit time is proportional to the size of your stash, yes. If you have 1000 CLAMs you will stake 1 CLAM about once per day on average. If you have 0.01 CLAMs you will stake 1 CLAM about every 100,000 days (or 274 years) on average although you might get lucky and stake on your first day of trying.

Thank you for clearing that up Dooglus and thank you for fixing the client to show the correct weight relative to the size of the stack.
Well, my first fix, back in September, left an empty column called "12": And today I removed the empty column, so now there's no "weight" at all: I figure there's no point showing the weight when it's just the same as the value in CLAMs. Isn't the weight only the full clams? So 2.9353434 clams would have a weight where part of the weight calculation takes the amount of clams into account, but only as the full amount of clams on that address? Which means it would be 2 for 2.9... Or was it the value of the inputs on this address that were changed to integers? Edit: Ah ok i see your previous post before my post. Seems it doesn't take integers. I wonder if i had this idea from another pos-coin.

Though i don't really see your words being true. I mean you are named VultureFund so what you want to do is holding clams. You can't profit from a dropping clamprice except someone lent out a big amount of clams to you. Which i would doubt. So in fact i think you will buy cheap clams, that's all. You won't bother selling clams for a low price only to push the price down.

A few pages back is the bootstrap file that dooglus updates weekly. It will shorten your sync time to hours rather than days.

The last time was about 12 hours ago I guess, so it's pretty up to date. I don't know why the client gets stuck syncing the chain over the p2p network, but numerous people have reported that it does. Xploited is working on a new version of the client which will hopefully fix the problem.
