My Exact Issues is This is using my CPU also to mine the coin, Every time after the miner starts after that manually stopped to CPU To OFF, and ony GPU to Mine.
It is not using CPU to mine, but the windows build of sgminer of Pascal algorithm also consumes some CPU power when running ... this could be probably solved by using some other pthread libs for windows...

I just took an other pool to get started, but it doesn't work. Dash is X11 algorithm which is now an ASIC-only algo. x11gost is a different algorithm (see here for more info: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=134) As per your GPU detecting issue - try adding this parameter:

HI all, can some one compile me a MAC OSX Sgminer 5+ please.
all the valid downloads i can find / have tried using either use outdated algo's or if they are supposed to be new then they say for MAC but are full of EXE's and don't run for me.
looking to get all the new algo's to run , been trying to get neoscrypt for ages .
a list of command options for setting the algorithms would be nice too.
Im sure someone has done it already but i seriously am not going to sift through 300 pages to find it.
cheers in advance

I've been mining for about 4-5 months. Built 2 rigs from scratch with 10 MSI 470s, primarily mining ETH, XMR & DCR during that time. After being away about a month for work, I started doing to research and realized that Dash prices have gone through the roof since Dec'16. This got me interested in mining Dash of course. I quickly learned that there are now ASICs to mine Dash/X11 and I am seriously considering trying at least 1 of the Baikal miner since the ROI period is currently only about 3 months.
However, what I was wondering is if the recent advent of ASIC has really totally killed GPU mining of Dash or if it still could be more profitable that GPU mining XMR, for example. I have 1 6-card rig dedicated to ETH/DCR but would consider moving my XMR rig to Dash if more profitable. So, does anyone know about what hashrate a 470 4GB is capable of pulling mining Dash... and also what wattage it pulls? Yes, I know i could try it myself but I would prefer not to waste the time if the answer is an obvious no. Thanks for any advice in this area!

Do not use graphics card to mine Dash. You will not make any profit.

No use mining using GPU, its just too small of hash and takes too much power compared to ASICs. I have experimented with RX480 rig before, using sgminer v5.5, use -k x11 algorithm to mine. RX480 x 6xGPU rig at best 50MHs, vs smallest model Baikal 150MHs Asics miner selling just under 500$

Hi, I cannot start SGminer neither with milti-algo conf or single on windows 8.1. (tried V5 and also the latest version) The miner starts and closes without any error. I have two HD 7790 cards installed and they work ok through the nicehash interface or optiminer_zcash_win but would like to try multi-algo option with sgminer... Thanks Orlando

For the ETH mining, is 390X faster than the 390 at the same clock?

Bump... Can anyone help me please? You need to try various versions of the sgminer. For my rigs, some rig work on 5.5.5, some on 5.5.4 or early versions, Some have the same problem as yours.

Hi, there is a problem with sgminer/5.5.1-b, pool switching is not working on Baikal a900, after auto or manual switch miner does not produce accepted shares, need to restart, all the newer version miners affected! Is there a way to fix it somehow? What can cause this?

I think I must have put the entry incorrectly. Why is sgminer search for http://stratum+ssl://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17004 ? Why there is http:// before stratum+ssl:// However, other people have tried the exact same command and claim that it works. Yes aaronsace is not even my user name. It's a username that's proven to work. So I wonder where I am wrong? Maybe I put pool and worker info wrong. However, others have tried exact same command and it works. Maybe I put wrong attributes? Maybe I have some missing library? WHat do you do if you try that command?
