X11 does not use Hamsi - it's not going to do anything when given the options for it! Therefore, for X11, those options have no effect and are omitted in the binary name.
Thanks for the answer. Man, I feel like I should've figured that out. Do you have any ideas why I'm having such a hard time trying 2 gpu threads. I use what seem to be the de facto standard: worksize 64 and xintensity 64 but I get nothing but constant driver crashes. I was able to get cards hashing with a worksize of 48 but the hash was terrible. Are you running your cards with Stilt's bios, just curious if some of the things Stilt disabled would have an effect. Incidentally, a few posts back I think you wrote that you don't attach a monitor to your 290 card, do you mean you are using onboard graphics or is it just attached to another card and that's why "gpu-platform" : "-1" is used. Never seen the -1 . Anyway I appreciate the work you put into all this even if I can't afford it, yet. I don't use -1, but actually, several of my rigs are headless - they have no monitor at all, and I connect to them via SSH. I also don't run Stilt's BIOSes, currently. Running on Windows? What driver version? Unrelated, I've worked on my x13 & x15 some more, broke 5MH/s on x13 for 280X Screenshot (nsfw): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/x13localrigwolf-11242014-2.pngYeah, Windows 8.1 I've tried 14.6 rc2 and 14.7, I think I even tried 13.12 when I merge mined vtc and zerovert for a day. Congrats on the x13 speed, it's going to be a real bummer when your miner cl's let you mine x13 faster than I can mine x11. Hahaha. Btw, my girlfriend thinks the chick on your left monitor is hotter than the one on the right. Hm... I know the Win drivers tend to be unstable - perhaps try lowering clocks? Also, it's surprising you can mine x11 at 5MH/s with a 280X - I thought around 4.5MH/s was the limit. She has pretty good taste; I agree. Ah sorry I meant it'll be an even bigger bummer when you can mine x13 with a 280x faster than I can mine x11 with a 290x. So sad to write that. I've been running at stock clocks and i prefer to use afterburner, maybe it's time to start increasing the powertune and voltage and/or flip the bios switch. So many combinations, makes my head hurt. Do you have reference cards? I have one reference 290X - it SUCKS. Reference 7950/7970 are good, the real old ones - those things are top quality. Otherwise, I buy the top card or close to it from a good brand - they're usually good overclockers. In my screenshot, the 290X shown is reference. To keep it cool and the awful noise down, I downclocked it. Yeah my reference cards can be very finicky. Maybe downclocking is the key. Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it. Gotta grab some sleep. If I figure something out I'll report back in case someone finds it useful.

You must have something like that for each algo: { "name": "Neoscrypt", "algorithm": "Neoscrypt", "thread-concurrency": "8192", "worksize": "64", "gpu-threads": "1", "intensity": "12", "gpu-engine": "900", "gpu-memclock": "1250", "gpu-fan": "30-100" } And you must try allot of combinations to find the best for your hardware. Look for others config files.

Guy's, I wanna thank everyone who helped me. But i have to give up Because nothing works. I tried different drivers of amd. Different versions of cl files. I also tried cgminer for neoscrypt only. But it all feezes the videocard. And the weird part is. If i mine x11 or x13 there is nothing wrong. So again, thanks for all the help.

I'm becoming stupid trying to make this work on my system. I have made some tests with no success. At the end I decided to start from scratch. I have downloaded the build from nicehash a few minutes ago. I've run just this way: sgminerNo parameters. Input the following: Input server details. URL: http://uk.p2pool.geek.nz:5567 User name: my_myr_wallet Password: blah Pool name (optional): MYR-qubit-p2puk Description (optional):
Profile (optional):
Algorithm (optional): qubitcoin A line appears... "switching", I cannot read it because it's very fast. I have tried taking a screenshot but it's really so fast. Immediately after this, it exits with: [10:47:25] Summary of runtime statistics:

Note: started at has no output there. Runtime is wow. Tried again with antivirus and firewall off. Same thing. Suggestions welcome. --EDIT-- Another test: URL: stratum+tcp://mine1.myr.nonce-pool.com:3360 User name: user.worker Password: blah Pool name (optional): MYR-noncepool Description (optional):

It then exits without even dumping statistics.

They are amazing indeed. The only problem seems to be that in order to power 2 of them from a single PSU you'd need 1300W PSU at minimum and 1500W to be on the safe side. Quality single rail PSU of this size is hard to find. What I wanted to ask you is: what is the voltage you're running these cards on? Also are you overclocking memory to 1500Mhz (or maybe more)? Thx!

Update on sgminer5 adventures. I have downloaded the source and had it recompiled by applying the usual "make libcurl optional again patch". Cannot connect anyway, but at least it works. By inspecting the gory details it turns out the new extranonce subscribing extension isn't supported by the servers I'm using. The extension... is an extension. This means optional to me. Yet the code appears to require it and won't go anywhere after getting server reply. I went into sgminer.c, add_pool and changed pool->extranonce_subscribe = true; into pool->extranonce_subscribe = false; this gets me to hashing. However, I suspect the difficulty is computed wrong because I cannot produce a single share in minutes.

Let me tell you guys I like really much the way you're cleaning up the difficulty multiplier thing. It was fairly crappy in 4.1. But anyway, I went into parse_diff and slashed the parsed diff by 256 as a quick test... it indeed produces the usual difficulty settings and stream of shares, with the usual % of rejects. No idea what's wrong. From a quick glance, everything seems nice to me. Anyone mining qubit here? At least for science!

I was powering 6 cards with 1500W and it was enough for Scrypt mining...for X11 or similar 3 cards consume about 500-550w. With one AX1200i I'm powering 6x280x...
