my 5970 card work with normal sgminer 4.1.0 x11mod,x13modold,nist5mod kernel but dont work with sgminer 5 and x15 kernel(bitblockold)

but dont work and driver crash with sgminer 5 simple i mining with 4336,3336 port in nicehash with darkcoin-mod kernel
If you're saying this window is of the x15 algo that's not working, you need to use bitblockold.cl

NEVERMIND - I don't under stand "dont work and driver crash with sgminer 5 simple i mining with 4336,3336 port in nicehash with darkcoin-mod kernel"
only dont work with sgminer5.
if it crashes your drivers it sounds like a problem with your clock speeds

work fine with other sgminer  but my problem with sgminer 5 .

Hello all,

I have an ati 6870, the older sgminer v4 version gives me 1,5mh and this version only gives me 250kh mining x11. This version doesn't work with 5000/6000series?

Anyone with an old GPU can mine with this version?

Thank you.
well i don't know exactly what has changed but it seems i get the best hash rate (700-750kh/s) on my 6850's (sorry thought they were 5850's) on
Code:
"algorithm" : "darkcoin",
"intensity" : "17",
and
Code:
"algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod",
"intensity" : "17",
"blake-compact" : false,
"keccak-unroll" : "0",
"luffa-parallel" : false,
does the best for the darkcoin-mod (still at least 100kh/s less than darkcoin)
i could have sworn i had x11 hashing at at least 100kh/s higher than i can get it now on these cards (900-950kh/s)
also i have my clocks at 950/1100 at the moment

With my 7850s I had to run -g 1 on them or else they lock up with -g 2

It was a hell of a pita to get them to mine with the SGMiner 5.xxxx to be honest.... but a clean reinstall paired with installing the AMD drivers BEFORE I installed VNC did the trick.... that and the flag.

I would also try the worksize of 64. I get much better hash with all my cards... ranging from the 7770, 6950, 260x, 7850, and 270x.... all with that worksize.

ya i tried all different work sizes and thread counts as well but i almost always end up with 2 threads and 64 worksize

Oh badman...I just remembered...this version of your miner I am using also has the split .conf feature.

So:

It's from your sig right about the time you started placing your newest builds in your sig. It was one that you compiled win binaries for before your system broke if I remember correctly.
File name sgminer_v5_0.zip
Uses "kernel"
SGMiner 4.2.2-254-gfdd4
Has darkcoin-mod.cl
Utilizes the 14.6 driver
Split .conf feature

Here is the link to this (as above) algo switching SGminer V5 miner I am using (an old one of badman's) confirmed working and stable with AMD 5870 for algo's X11, X13, X15, & Ndist5. Vista x32 & x64, 13.12 & 14.6 drivers. Also includes my working .conf for TMB:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/nm7xqn8jrn7t1ha/sgminer_v5_0%20-%20Copy.zip

I know I'm a newb here and my saying so doesn't mean much, but the DL is clean, I haven't messed with it. (unless badman whacked on it before I got it Tongue )

Same thing with my 6870... I tried some different settings and always only get 230kh with darkcoin-mod kernel, with darkcoin kernel i get 1 megahash. With the older sgminer v4 version with x11mod i get 1,5megahash.

Thank you anyway!

Clocks 980/1100
Drivers from 14.6b1 and later have better performance with groestl, which is included in x[n] algorithms; give 14.7 a shot.

Anyone can help a newbie please.

I have been using SGminer 4.1 with out any issues, using the X11Mod as Kernel and my temp. is about 60 degrees when mining X11 coin

I am trying to mine at nicehash using the new Multi-Algo mining with the new SGminer 5.0 and I set up all the parameters like the web site recommended but my temperature is going up to 88 degrees very quickly.

I removed the X11Mod from Kernel and input the correct Algo (Darkcoin for X11) in the pool set up....

Am I doing something wrong?

Anyone has any input?

Thanks in advance for your help

use x11 for x11, x13 for x13, x14 for x14, x15 for x15
and algo's are set with algorithm instead of kernel

So under the algo section for each pool I need to put "X11Mod"? or "Darkcoinmod"? I tried both but the temp. still going up to the high 80's instead of the 60-62 range ):

Thanks for your help

Can someone point me to, where I can get stable x11 or x13 sgminer.

Because now I have problem with 4.1 or 4.2 version when I run it,, it throws me out or sometimes can connect to server and sometimes can not.

And are that x13 and x15 also consuming much less power than scrypt?
thanks

Hello

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the latest drivers? I've tried both 14.7-rc1-windows-july9 and 14.6-rc2-windows-june23.

When i use those drivers i cannot change the engine or memory speed on my cards. Voltage change works.

I've tried on both Win8.1 x64 and Win7 x64 same problem. DDU for clean uninstall of driver. I have a bunch of 280x's same problem on all.

When i use 14.4 WHQL everything works fine on same cards.

But I'm loosing some hash when running on the older driver.

Similar problem here. After the upgrade to the 14.7 drivers, I cannot change the memory speed anymore. Changing GPU speed still works fine for me, but I've heard of others having issues with GPU speed as well.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the latest drivers? I've tried both 14.7-rc1-windows-july9 and 14.6-rc2-windows-june23.

When i use those drivers i cannot change the engine or memory speed on my cards. Voltage change works.
Similar problem here. After the upgrade to the 14.7 drivers, I cannot change the memory speed anymore. Changing GPU speed still works fine for me, but I've heard of others having issues with GPU speed as well.
i found that i just cant go lower than stock settings on mine

use unoffical oc with powerplay on msi ab that works for me
