Nice! I picked one up off eBay and used my eBay bucks and saved a good deal. Just gotta wait it's arrival now. Also working on picking up a Beaglebone black to play around with.

Anyone here running the new R-Box with MultiMiner by chance? I plan on running a controller for mine soon but wanted to get it up and hashing asap....sadly I am only getting about 50 Gh/s effective and 75 Gh/s avg. and 33% errors. Should I open the unit up and ensure everything is connected properly? The package looks like it went through a war-zone. haha!

Thanks!
I believe you are trying to use BFG Miner, at least that's the same numbers I got when I tried. BFG Miner is working on support for the new r-box but it isn't there yet. nwools started digging deeper into it yesterday so I imagine that means MultiMiner will need to be changed as well. Switch to the CG Miner download from Rockminer and edit the batch file with your pool and worker info and you should have an effective rate at 100Gh/s or higher. These units seem to be touchy about the USB cable as well which may have some bearing on your results too.

Word. Thanks for the reply mate!

yeah try zadig and cgminer (4.5.0 is a stable build). I have seen 140 gh even on some units i tested. That was when i set the freq = 350

Link to the build i have been using: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kjldvqiq3yfpx6e/cgminer%20new%20rbox.rar

I said "Don't shipping until all products on deck." What does that mean? Do I need to order 9 more new r-box until you guys deliver the product?
just omit it, it a friendly remind, it likes this: if you order lots kinds of our miners or other stuffs, we will not ship separately until everything is in stock.

Hey Rockxi.
I don't get it... If I make an order on your webstore the bulk-discount does not apply. And how does it work with the EU shipping? I simply pay 19% more and you'll do the rest?
And is there still RPi and a ATX breakout board included if I buy x R-Boxes?

By the way.. Your bulk discount is higher than the single price Wink

Hey, yes, there was a mistake...we changed it, the price of bitcoin dropped down so much...

I've done a order now and I simply added 19% to the price of the miner and withdraw this amount for EU VAT.
Is that ok?

rockxie,

Here is a new idea for you.  Take two hashing blades from ASICminer's Prisma (the x48 blades have lower power consumption) and make that into something that looks like Antminer S3.  Same black color and metal as New R-Box.  Leave room in there for Raspberry Pi or Cubie.

Price it good like the Prisma and you can take over Antminer S3 and Spoondoolie's market.

Same form as R3, with new R-Box type enclosure.  Not  1W/G.  But 0.76W/G.

Forgive the noob question, but I'm not sure after looking a bit at the website, T1 handbook and some of the things said here.

If I order 1 T1 from the website, what else do I need to mine? It looks like it does not come with a BE controller (unless I order 4 T1s) and there doesn't seem to be a place to order it. Is this correct? If so, how do I order a BE so I can mine?

Thanks!

im new to mining and i was wondering if it is possible to connect a T1 directly to a computer via usb and mine through cgminer. I currently mine with 2 usb based r-boxes so i dont know how to use a raspberry pi or BCE (dont even know what that is).

Rockminer also sell the BE controller so you can contact them to get one for sure.

At the moment I don't know of a way to connect the T1 miner directly to a computer. Someone was on here before and trying to do it but I don't know if they succeeded.
