There is also another linux install guide here: https://github.com/crypti/crypti-docs/blob/master/install.md

For the Windows and Mac versions we don't have an install guide, because it's simple click and run. Smiley  (Well to be precise, there is a Mac OS guide, on our unfinished wiki. If you need it I can send you the guide.)

I am using Windows. OP mentions that I need to install SQLite3 before I install the client. When I click that SQLite3 download page, there are many files. I wonder which one I should download to install SQlite3? Also when I tried to install the client I got a message from my Anti-virus software to ask me if the file of hideexe.exe is safe? Is this hideexe.exe a file from XRC?

Any news on 0.2.0?
It's coming as soon as we are comfortable with Bters XCR holdings. (below 50%, better at 30% or below)

I have got to take my hat off and give credit where credit is most certainly due.  The fact that there is a 0.2.0 version of Crypti coming at all is pretty amazing if you ask me.  A switch from PoT to DPoS would kill most coin projects.   This dev team never gave up and made it happen anyway.  That kind of guts, and drive, and flexibility, and determination, is the most important asset Crypti has.

Congratulations, gentlemen.  You have done good.

+1, also good to see you again Mal, haven't seen you here in a while.

Hello,

you don't need to install sqlite3 as a Windows user. This is only for Linux users. Smiley

The Anti-virus software might report something, but I guarantee you that there is nothing dangerous in there. We will see, what we can do there in the future. I asked Stas (Syrenity) about it.

Edit: Stas said, that this hideexe.exe is used to hide the DOS process (terminal). So 100% safe.  Wink

In the very early testing wallet/nodes, we had a DOS window on the desktop in addition to the main window.   It really was annoying  That window is now hidden by hideexe.exe.

Norton alerts on programs that are new, and untested by default.  I see it every time I install an updated node.  Once a number of users have installed the newest updated node, Norton recognizes it as SAFE and will not longer alert.

Yeah, webroot comes up with suspicious file as well. I'm assuming that is due to it being a new process. But things seem to be coming together nicely now..

Just a little heads up, there's about 45M left on Bter, which is almost fine for releasing 0.2.0 client with DPOS and going to the very top of the crypto world, so everybody please keep withdrawing funds from Bter. About 20M were withdrew withing just a few days, so we're doing really great.

Yeah people keep withdrawing. So we can get the next release out. Would like to see that number cut in half.. Before the next release. We don't want another BTER Fiasco.
Best regards
Brian

We hope so too. The hot wallet of Bter is nearly empty again. Lin will fill it up soon. Would be nice if we can get Bters cold wallet at least to 30M, better would be 20M.

so the Web Wallet seems behind (blocks).

i did a test withdrawawal from BTER and it worked fine, and came to my wallet.

but before i pull out 500,000, i want to make sure its ok that the blockchain in web wallet doesn't really seem to show most recent blocks.
