Please release.  Roll Eyes

Yes, I can't ask more for it.. The issues from above are all resolved. However, after another testing cycle of the fixed version, Sebastian (our tester) found two other bugs. Both result in a frozen and crashed client.

Currently Boris is fixing these issues, while the other two devs are further working on v0.2.0. Sebastian provided Boris with all data (logs, snapshots, etc.) and is positive that Boris will catch the issues quicky.

I just want to say, that we are all eager to see Crypti strive. Our three devs are putting much work in this release (and also in the future releases)! Our designer finished building the mainframe and design guide for our new website in Photoshop. With this the contract between her and us ended. Therefore I delivered a few missing child pages (in .psd) to our front-end developer this week, which I made out of the great work the designer did. Our graphic front-end developer is coding the website on the week days with much promise.

You see there is going on pretty much behind the scenes. It just takes time, I know as an investor it is very normal to be nervous. But please bear with it, once you see the outcome of what we are building, you will probably be glad that you didn't sold.

By the way guys, I redid Crypti.ws. (Please note, that this is NOT the official site!!)

- New design
- Now with a chart (Alpha!)

I hope you like it. Maybe I will add other charts (last month, last year) as well. But they are in alpha right now, I don't know for sure if the day chart is working correctly. That 2-3 hours are not shown at the end is because the script isn't running for 24h but for 21-22h only. It should be fixed automatically as soon as it is running long enough.

Edit: There was a problem with the cronjob, now it should work again. Smiley

I can't get my wallet synced, I left it on for couple of day, it still says "Synching", how many total blocks are there, can't see it in the block explorer either, Also, I did couple of test withdrawals form the exchange it didn't show up. I assume my wallet address is on the top right where it says "Your Account:"?

Can someone please help!!!!

Bter is waiting for 0.1.9 to be released to enable withdrawals. You may want to restart the wallet to sync if it seems frozen.

We have 0.1.9 running on the ARM based coinbox, still needs to be connected to the main net to finish testing. Currect usage stats are 100 Mb RAM, 5% CPU usage, which will probably increase once connected to main net and processing transactions.

We have been notified by our test team that 0.1.9 looks good to go. We are putting the final touches on everything now, but it looks like we made it through this last test cycle with no more bugs and are ready to rock. I will be posting the official release as soon as we get the all clear from Boris & SyRenity and final builds. I'll keep you posted.

The 24h chart should now work 100%, that's why it's not in alpha state anymore. I also added a 30d chart, which needs another 27 days to have the necessary values to be shown full. Smiley

The launch of 0.1.9 will require we bring down all exchanges and stop transfers. We are going to be re-setting the entire network essentially. This requires a coordinated effort by all parties. We have scheduled to accomplish this at 0000 UTC. Once we get the exchanges and our network re-set and re-loaded with 0.1.9, we will ensure everything is up and running correctly and then we will post the clients for download and the official announcement. This is a huge re-invention / re-launch of the code for the actual network, as important, in my mind, as launching our DPOS solution. It is a complete re-write of the code to be 100% optimized and much more efficient. We literally changed almost everything.

I will keep you posted throughout the day as well as update once we start preparing the exchanges and getting everything worked up. Sorry for the short delay but coordinating with 3 exchanges and ourselves with everyone on different time zones has required us to work around multiple schedules.

Stay tuned to this thread and our blog. We will have more info shortly.

Hold on, so now 0.1.9 will be a reset of the entire network? What happens to the current network? GreXX, this is going to be the second time that you are going to be "re-setting" the entire network. You can't keep on taking the network down whenever you feel like it. Please give us some more info regarding this.

Well it all depends on how you look at it. We aren't taking down the current network and you could technically continue running on it if you so chose. You would be on a fork and this is what most consider a hard fork.

We are switching over our nodes and the exchange nodes to the new network and I believe even re-creating the genesis block and all activity from that point within the new db and network structure. IF you don't upgrade to the new software, you would be running on the old and incorrect (in our eyes) fork. If you do upgrade to the new software, you would be on the new and correct fork and keyed in with the exchanges.

Obviously Boris could talk much more to the details for why this is all necessary, but it has to do with the re-write, new db structure, and code refactoring that was done.

We aren't actually taking the network down, we are stopping the exchanges and our web wallet and other nodes all at once so we can ensure no new transactions get missed in the transition when we start up the new infrastructure.

That being said, any transactions done after that point, would just end up back in the wallet of the user when they transition to the new software.

So essentially, we are just doing a more detailed hard-fork because some of the network fundamentals within the nodes are actually different now.

i have not been following in the thread but are you telling us that crypti now uses Dpos as in delegated pos like the bitshares?
What about proof of importance is that still part of crypti? any other algorithms that we may want to know about?
