Thx for the help guys, I will try some of the suggestions, but it worked fine yesterday when i first installed. It was still not harvesting, but at least i could see it was active yesterday, and I could see my coins. I will wait and see if it starts to open at some point.
to havest some you need to have at least 10000 xem vested in wallet. 10% is vested per day i think 100% after 30days.

Very good material. However, the tutorial about installing NEM on windows amazon AWS VPS is not there... do you happen to have the link? I have contacted NEM via twitter, facebook, blog.nem.io and nothing. I'm very motivated by this project and the whole idea behind POI but so far the community doesn't seem very active on these platforms. Hopefully I can find some help here. Also if someone could add me to the telegram chat that would be amazing @fiazk Thanks!

Very good material. However, the tutorial about installing NEM on windows amazon AWS VPS is not there... Thanks! Amazon free VPS with Windows is horrible... That ubuntu version is more responsible but to be honest won't pass supernode test. For free node it can be but for supernode Amazon free is to weak. Making ubuntu is quite easy with scripts: https://github.com/Stoner19/Nem-Installers-masterthey are working,

I was thinking to help with a super node as well but atm I don't have the funds (3m) I could borrow some money but I'm nor sure if there is any ROI with the super node at least to cover the costs. Many thanks for your help!

Gotta admit I just recently jumped into the boat and XEM might not be as cheap as other users bought it. There are no nodes around Geneva to remote in and the same applies to Venezuela. I think SEM could be very good for Venezuela due to it's current situation, and I could help since I'm from there. Cheers

Congrats to NEM devs Maybe finally their work has been noticed and the valuation of XEM [ksem :] is growing. But... how about the Exchanges. Here has been few posts about their safety. Is it expected that EVERY Exchange will be "hacked"? If it is so, then I start believing that it is not actually a hacking problem. It is just a systematic and 100% sure method to get virtual coins. And the method is owned by the Exchange providers themselves.

I'm using it atm. Is there a way to check if you are really harvesting?

Given the current trend of "hacks" (some of which are probably just lies to cover exit strategies) i think it's a safe assumption to say all exchanges can be hacked and will take your funds with them.
This assumption has saved me many times over the years and i never would keep a single coin on an exchange for this reason.

Thanks for the advices. Which Exchanges have lost their funds and when those have happened? Just looking for the "t(h)rend" ...

Copying the file should still work but there also one on bob: http://bob.nem.ninja/nis5_mainnet.h2.db.zip (pretty recent i think) You tech theoretically you any remote NIS as your server. There is no way for them to steal your founds. They could feed you bad data so maybe stick to the supernodes when the reward programm is up and running. You can checkout the lightwallet and see which servers are listed there. Those should all be trustworthy.
