Logo voting has been closed due to high spamming alert.
We will post some updates later as to how we will proceed forward.
Voting on the forum was prone to rigging. A fair and transparent way would be to vote by PM, with only the NEM account holders eligable to vote and the results logged to our Google spreadsheet. This is a little more work, but is verifiable to all parties. It will prevent the outcome from being being disputed in the future and will also show all the active members and lurkers. Use the NEM newsletter and PM to inform all members. Seems like a good way to me, but like you said, it's a lot of work. I guess another way is that somebody could start a thread in BTT. Then people could publicly comment with their vote. The thread could be moderated and at the end of a page every so often a tally could be given. Any comment that wasn't a vote by a name on the stakeholder list could be deleted by the moderator. It would be very transparent with results. Anybody could pretty easily do a check. Pretty quickly too it could be decided especially if it was a landslide. |

If you see garbage posts (off-topic, trolling, spam, no point, etc.), use the "report to moderator" links. All reports are investigated, though you will rarely be contacted about your reports.

I think the price of NEM will drop to 16.000 - 18.000 NXT per stake the coming 1-2 weeks.
Because NXT will rise in this period. Thanks to their new update of the client with Digital Goods Store and some more new functions.
That's why NEM stakes will see a drop in the first half of August. The second half of August we will see a massive rise IMO.

Perhaps a price speculation thread should be started? Over-all the price is where it is since we appear to be spending a lot of time discussing the less meaty aspect of logo design instead of the technical improvements that are going on behind the scenes. I was away a week or so and on catching up this thread looks a bit unorganized with all the back and forth of late. You guys do a great job of keeping the first post updated btw. Thank you for all the effort. Most of the devs are busy working and I am sure are quite amused at the logo vote. <sarcasm> NEM technical charts show a hippo movement in the 4th degree. The Digital Asset Exchange release certainly pushed up the price, so you are probably right about the Digital Goods Store doing the same. |
