Logo vote is not mentioned in the Newsletter?
Should everyone be reminded that the vote is now going on,  it was pure luck that I noticed the vote.

it was surprising that we, who have made public auditing, public and equal discussions, will now have a non public vote. Are we sure that every vote is correctly counted???

I've 1)added some more images with the cube logo(forgot about those before), 2)corrected kodtycoon's name and 3)updated the procedure: you should just send the PM to both rockethead and kodtycoon with the chosen option.

Logo vote update

As some of you may have noticed we have closed the voting poll. It has become obvious to us, especially during the last day, that our vote was compromised and could not be taken serious. However, during the process we have learned that there are 2 important contenders which should b taken into consideration as NEM official logo options(the fan logo and the cube logo).

This is why we are opening a new official vote today.

Voting rules:

• voting starts today and will last for 5 days
• voting will only have 2 options: 1)the fan logo and 2)the cube logo
• in order to prevent compromising the vote again, voting will be done on bitcointalk via PM
• voting will only be considered valid if you are a NEM stakeholder and appear on the final stakeholder list

Voting procedure:

Every voting stakeholder will have to send a PM to both rockethead and kodtycoon specifying the chosen option(i.e. "option 1" or "option 2"). Once the voting period is over, results will be made public and we will conclude by announcing the official NEM logo.

As a reminder here are the 2 voting options:

1. The Fan Logo (option 1)










2. The Cube Logo (option 2)

NEM spelled backwards is men. The logo might be a phallic symbol.

I thought it looked like a penis since I first saw it.  

Maybe this is some psychology thing ("sex sells").  Maybe the reason Google became so popular was because it rhymed with oogle and/or the noises you make in the shack.  

BTW, if you guys want to keep the cube then you must vote.  Don't assume being apathetic.  Chances are all the phallic supporters are coming out in full force to vote.

I think there are a few people here would who love to have cube babies.

The cube logo is seriously boring and doesn't representing NEM at all. That is why the logo committee wasn't considering it.
