Remember the days when docsis modems provided a cable connection then for the user a USB port and an RJ45 port without informing the user it's one or the other not both?

^^lol

i wish I had been smart enough to get into all this it stuff back then... but sadly I dont remeber that from my few months playing around

definitly have changed the lan setting on the antminer i had running, thinking it was a non running one, back when i was trying to go back and forth in the gui's to compare why one was running and the others werenet. This is the reason That the one i had up was taken offline Sad That is not the same machine im playing with now but im not reallly sure whats been done on this particuler one in that aspect heres some screenshots thatll hopefully help narrow down where im at here.....

So I just scrolled through over 4 pages of you two back and forth.  Maybe try PM next time, or chat, and not fill up the thread with pages and pages of troubleshooting.

Actually I find it interesting.  Not much going on while we wait for an S6 or C2.

If you're using wifi, why is an ethernet cable plugged in?

Likely answer: you're not using wifi.

So if you have wifi configured right, what happens when you restart the miner? Unplug or turn off the power supply, wait a moment, and then turn it back on.

If it won't connect after that. Make sure you scan for your network, and add it from there.

When you log into the router, can you see logs of what's happening with the connection attempt?

Is the router set up to give the miner a static address or dhcp one? And if so, is the miner set up to receive the same?

Router logs would be a way to quickly answer this, if your router has them.

Maybe it's a routing problem, e.g. drop the eth connection and drop the route.

Good afternoon , I have a Antminer s3 that was working very well , suddenly the red and green LEDs will be lit and remain blinking off and on again do not catch me the LEDs and the fans turn at maximum Revolution , entered the setup will install firmware and nothing occurred to me to put the control board to another s3 and actually this bad the control board , entered the setup but do not read me the asic and does not start the minefield , my question is there a way to fix it and if not where could get to buy thanks

Put the "bad" controller board in a miner, fire up while holding the reset button for a full 90 seconds, then shutdown, wait almost a minute perhaps and fire up.  Then tell us how you did.

Wifi is set as wwan.
tried dhcp and static. as soon I unplug cable wifi ip disappears.

Active IPv4-Routes
Network   Target   IPv4-Gateway   Metric
wwan            0.0.0.0/0   192.168.1.1    0
wan            192.168.1.0/24   0.0.0.0   0
wwan         192.168.1.0/24   0.0.0.0   0

Do I need to bridge it somehow in settings? (bridge interfaces) ?

Just so we are all sure, your router is sitting on 192.168.1.1 ?

Maybe post a screenshot of your main Status -> Overview page
Also try logging into the the miner via SSH and type 'route' then press enter. Copy and paste what it shows.

Well, when you have them both up try pinging both, then after disconnecting the one, ping the other.

You ARE giving them different addresses, yes?

Nothing i did that already and I had no positive results, continue the fans to the maximum and i can't see the ASIC

Just like what happened to one of my S3+ boards although the other is hashing at 227.49GH/s.  I haven't yet found a solution.

If you could put an oscilloscope on pin 13 of either ribbon cable....

...your pics...

The problem is, you are setting the miner to use a static IP 192.168.1.100, however your wifi is assigning it 192.168.1.5

In order to use a static address, it needs to be set up in the router. Just change the miner to not use a static address and things should be fine.
