i just find what i think is the cheapest C13 32A PDU:

Server Tech CB-12H2-L630 12xC13 30A
160 EUR in Romania
http://www.servertech.com/products/basic-pdus/basic-pdu-cb-12h

even whit this at large scale SP35 will be alot of $

problem is that most of these are built with 16+ outlets on even a 250V/30A PDU, when in reality only 3-6 are required by larger power supplies

some solutions exist, but I think a lot of larger setups simply use hard-wired systems or cheaper european 250V wiring sytems

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

I am sure many have built several dedicated mining rigs without monitors attached.
How do you guys monitor the PCs to make sure the mining program is still running and not hanged?

Thought you might like to see our latest addition to the family mid-build. First batch of 100TH, another few pallets on it's way.

The capacity is live and you can find the new product announcement in our service [ANN] thread.

very smart that you didn't use C13 PDU, ar too expensive and for exemple one APC 32A C13 PDi which is >600$ can only handle two SP35, schucko or UK cables are the best solution.

that is pretty awesome Smiley

ssh  Smiley

But to begin with I have a "watchdog" script that restarts cgminer if it hangs, so a "hanging" program is not the problem to begin with.

Other than that there's apps like CryptoGlance.

Additionally, some pools provide APIs, so you can monitor with an app on your phone.

All of that would fit in 1 42U rack. Why wouldn't you rack-mount rack-mountable servers?

Why concentrate the heat and power when you have a large clean open warehouse to fill?

Any other KNC Shrines (to the fallen asic mnfg that they were?)

The below is my someone what over the top setup ...considering how modest it is in actuality...against the mega rigs
here....and the Titan purchase is 'dubious' to say the least!...here she is.....

The KNC Jupiter (Oct 18th 2013 to Jan 18th 2015) has been shut off after 15 months ..at 15c kwh just can't hack it anymore.
I got just a 'tad' over 50 BTC out of this beast at around 555gh for most of its lifetime.

The KNC Titan on the left (Nov 8th 2014) I am mining LTC like heck on it on the (probably hopeless quest for ROI) ..so far
after exactly 2 months of mining I'm at (as of 1 min ago) 583.28818463224 LTC.....at $1.78 usd ...(hardly the 3.80 I started
at when I turned the beastie on ...if I remember correctly)

So good news when I started I mined (with my 2 dead dies out of 16 knc will not RMA if the 'crappy' unit can do over 300mh)
at around 308mh ...anyway nov 8th 2014 it was 5.80 LTC a day .....now it is 7.58 LTC per day on www.litecoinpool.org (currently 105% payback)
so...anyway.....in 199 days LTC will mining will be cut in half (see http://bitstacks.org/litecoinClock.html) so wonder if I'm gonna be
a 'chump' or 'champ' in my all in bet on LTC and holding?

anyway the 'back story" on my miner above and its eventual trip to becoming a 'doorstop' ...only 1 more to go to doorstop status
...now that home mining seems to be dead (good to have goals)

so it goes ....please anyone else with a deluded purchase of a 1st batch KNC Titan no roi no refund ..piece of sh*t please post a picture
here as well......

I"m sooooo lonely with my deluded Titan purchase ....anyway newbie mistake back in the day.....

anyway so it goes...probably my last miner ...(may get toy miner in future for fun) but nothing like this from now on
www.coinbase.com is my friend..now I"m into 'attic mining' ie....sell all the crap in attic on ebay from last 30 years
should be 5k of junk...boring....but a lot more $$$$ then bitcoin mining.....and then again coinbase will like me much too huh?

anyway live an learn...all the above should even out in the wash to the 'equiv' of 65 BTC or so....we will see.....

(ancient Chinese curse: may you live in 'interesting' times.....yeah you betcha ..never a dull moment BTC/LTC) Smiley

er ..also notice the 'tempered' glass top under the Titan on the Left..so no fire hazard.(yeah they catch on fire no sh*t)
.again KNC Titan was made for a 90 day warrenty...they under pressure did make it 1 year now....but prob will be lucky to make past 90 days
......the raspberry pi $39 science project,,that is is....so sad...so screwed....i mean if you are gonna f*ck me over this bad
..I would expect a little romance..some dinner..dancing at least some flowers...sheesh.... Wink

Here is my home operation. I've got 1 Antminer S4, 2 Antminer S5 and 2 Spondoolies SP20. SP20's are underclocked, S4 slightly-overlocked and 2 S5 are running factory speeds. Combined hashrate of 6.7TH.
