the miners in the background look almost like KnC units to me
Neptunes? Yes I think they are Neptunes judging by the looks of the casings.

Thought you might like to see our latest addition to the family mid-build. First batch of 100TH, another few pallets on it's way. The capacity is live and you can find the new product announcement in our service [ANN] thread. Justin CEO www.megamine.comWow that looks great. The energy company will also appreciate it.

Use the heat to melt the snow on 3000+ meter high mountains and use the water to drive some hydro power plant. Of course you would need acres and acres of mining farms to achieve that effect and the electricity generated might not be strong enough to drive them

I thought you meant to use the solar power plant for electricity? You'll have enough capital outlay for the mining hardware, the cooling etc. already and now you want to pay for a hydroplant as well?

Of course you would need acres and acres of mining farms to achieve that effect and the electricity generated might not be strong enough to drive them that is one hell of a crazy idea but nope , transfering the heat etc would take alot of electricity of its own and i dont belive this could be done efficently.

Slight little problem with that is you are trying to create a perpetual machine...... Of course you could just use Hydro electricity created by rivers fed from Arctic snow melt. Just like we do Here's a nice little video from our sister company about how we power our miners. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3t5mV0_KVe4Justin CEO www.megamine.com

There is an external source of energy in the system, HOWEVER the odds are the water run off from melted snow would not produce much power at all.

Personally I think it's simpler than that. The power from melted snow dropping the distance of the miners away from the snow determines the power (as the head of the water and it's mass determines the output from the turbines - P=rho x g x h x q), but the heat transfer from the miners to the snow to melt it is inversely proportional to the distance from the snow away from the miners (Qcc = -ci.ρw.hm.(Ts-Tm)) The water evaporating and turning back into snow would only keep the system running if the above could be made to work, but as you'd never get all the heat to the snow perfectly, and rho is always less than 1, you have a slight problem.... As I said, much easier to let the heat of the sun melt the snow and just stick your hydro station and miners downstream from it Justin CEO www.megamine.com

Why does no one ever propose to build a trash to steam power plant for their miners? It wouldn't need anywhere near as much water and could run 24/7 without much sun. Land next to a dump is cheaper and you could easily divert some free trash.

Keeping the trash burning requires injecting oil and stuff into the burner. And it's a weird mess. And you make a lot of smoke on the output. And the neighbors will just *love* you.
Just find an abandoned dam and build a hydro system there, power your miners and a cell phone to the internet, then go :-)

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function. Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.
