But alenevaa..... in my opinion it means that if there are only 2 peers connected, and online wallets are serious decreased, that the UTC network is very very slow ...

If anybody starts his wallet it stay's long time "out of sync" becous of very low connections.

Becous of that transactions (incomming and outgoing) takes very very long time, just becous there is no network of peers and connections...

So in my opinion it seems very bad for the "so famous" transaction speed of UTC and thus bad for UTC overall.

Or do i miss here something as a noob ?

Also, why are there not so many orphans these days with the stake amounts? Is this a result of the changes?

The pool wallet had more than 16 peers before fork has happened. Now it has only 2 peers connected.

The number of online wallets has been dramatically decreased. The less wallets are staking the less of the orphans.

Original ultracoin has exactly the same situation now. There are no orphans at all.

That shouldn't reduce the transaction speed of Ultracoin, what matters most is miners. Although staking does help with transactions, as long as their are miners on the network and difficulty is able to adjust accordingly the transaction time SHOULD maintain stable.

Children if honestly that me was already got by constant mistakes in a purse. So it is impossible. The purse is the person of a coin, this the first what faces the ordinary user. and a purse at you not as it should be. If the purse at me isn't started constantly, at a break in work 2-3 days it in general ceases to be synchronized. I updated it to the latest version, but that I see, some days it tries to download all base to be synchronized. For эo time 3 times it took off with a mistake that on my personal computer date and time isn't correctly determined. Time 5 already was here such mistake

It already rather bothered me. Why you can't make a normal, fast purse?

After speaking with Bittrex, there is no risk in being delisted. The system has automatic notifications for low volume, but the actual delisting is done manually. Established coins have a very low risk of being delisted despite volume drops. More than likely more volume will move to Bittrex as users continue to lose faith in Cryptsy.

Yeah, they only delist when devs/community stops responding or there is no development going on.

Hello Barbados,

Can you tell me more about the crash? Was staking enabled when the crash occurs?

Ehm... the difficulty retarget doesn't seem to work correct at all!

How come the devs don't recognize such a obvious problem?

The oscillations are ridiculous!!! Something is VERY wrong here.

There may be hope with Cryptsy wallets - HUC and DEM have been taken out of "maintenance" after many many months.

Still I would not get too excited - over 70 wallets still offline.

I've been gathering some coin stats to try to assist the devs.  Here's a graph of the UTC network difficulty over the past 5 days.

http://postimg.org/image/tuk8n0am9/full/

This is a logarithmic scale to better highlight the extreme oscillations in difficulty. Each major gridline is a 10x increase in difficulty from the last gridline.  Two major gridlines is 100x.

The lowest troughs are the minimum allowed difficulty which is about 0.00025.  The difficulty is currently at 0.076, which is 300x the minimum.

The difficulty has been following a similar pattern since the switch to the new retargeting back in early November.

Hope this is helpful to the devs in some way.

Hello Barbados,

Can you tell me more about the crash? Was staking enabled when the crash occurs?

Anything concrete. After a break in work of a purse more than 3 days. It simply wasn't synchronized any more. I downloaded the latest version from the site. I removed all files except the file of a purse I started a new purse. It started downloading all files from scratch. I downloaded only about 4 days. During this time several times there was a mistake that at me on the computer date and time though actually everything was correct isn't correctly determined. Then synchronization stopped and I had to start a purse anew. Also several times there was a mistake as on the picture. It was necessary to restart a purse. All these mistakes arose so far the purse downloaded files. In what specifically the moments they arose I can't tell. Simply arose also all. System of Vindos of 7 64 bits.

Hey thanks Grim - I am proud of that.

It was not a serious comment anyway - getting better in terms of UTC/Day at http://utc14.yacoin.club/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks from casual observation

needs to reach 7200/day and now up to 5630/day (was only 2000-3000 a few weeks back.

block per minute average is important - but so is stability for transactions/miner sanity of course

but yes - not right yet

Anyone else have trouble with the OS X wallet version? I deleted my Application Support\Ultracoin folder and removed the preferences file for UltraCoin-QT and all it will do is crash immediately on opening the app.

Between Cryptsy and the new wallet I now have access to exactly 0 of my coins. Been supporting, mining and trading this coin since hour 0 and honestly, things have never been worse than they are right now. I stepped away from the forums for a while because I didn't feel like I was making a positive contribution to the coin, but man. WTF.

Also, why is mining in such a chaotic state? Absolutely nothing in regards to mining seems to be working well right now. I stepped away from mining for a month or so and now it seems pointless to even have a single rig mining UTC. I think my PoS would generate more coins that actual mining....

Please someone make some sense of all of this.

You idiot devs i havent seen more idiots in my entire life than this shit community without devs and without any inovation .Look what you have done to the coin ,Bittrex is delisting it due to low volume  of trading also cryptsy have given some infos that will delist low volume coins mentioned also ultra coin. You only do is say words about one click shit miners .nothing in this community to be done you only did is destroy the coin by delisting it from bittrex and delisted from coinpayments processor .im done with this shit coin .im going to dump 1 milion say goodbye to this joke of cryptos
Dear ultraradar, might I suggest that (at the moment) any coin's first priority is survival? Haven't you noticed the falling price of all coins? UTC has both an active community, and a committed development team. This is rare, and ensures UTC's continued existence.

I was going to buy some ULTRACOIN, but since a jerk like volyova is involved I'm going to avoid it.

Too bad, it seems like ULTRACOIN is really going places and I'm going to miss out.   Cry
