what happened to Ultracoin-Arb? UTC promote this. If its defunct - delete it.
"Ultra-Arb has been shut down for the foreseeable future. For those that supported me, thank you. For those that attacked me, sorry if I'm not as perfect as you would want me to be. You are why I sometimes hate Crypto."
No idea... DCgirl ran the site, even after she left. I am not sure what could have happened. This looks like it happened today, thus it will be deleted from the main page unless otherwise relaunched.

@rapture333 Can you ask DCgirl to come back to UTC? I know she had some issues with Bumface but now he's gone so there no reason for her not to be with us again unless she's busy now with other projects. She also was responsible for Minecraft plugin and she had it almost finished. Maybe this is the time for her?

I have asked her to come back, and have received no response at this time. I suggest that if the community wants her to come back, you should all message her individually. She was burned pretty bad by this community in the past. However I believe a lot of those members are gone, and the management has changed since then. If she doesn't want to come back I understand the sentiment, but I have already messaged her before to no avail. If you want her back, I suggest you let her know. Remember that we do have Kracko on our team now, and he has done outstanding work so far. The Minecraft plugin is still in the pipeline and we will be on our plate once we finish current projects first.

I am affraid we have to expect that we all lost our coins and funds we had on Mintpal. It is the same as with MT Gox... they did a game and scammed everybody and finaly they stole our coins ... Sorry to say but this is the same case i am affraid of.

@mitache365 Please use YACminer and use the Ultracoin configuration generator to find your card type, RAM and current N-Factor, set the N-Factor to 14. http://cfg.ultracoin.net/https://github.com/Thirtybird/YACMiner/releases@RichardMiner I am afraid to say you might be right. pastebin.com/VYpQ5CWA Here is the official MintPal twitter: https://twitter.com/MintPalExchangeIf this is true, that may mean legal action is possible in the future. But it also means that funds won't be recovered unless law enforcement can do something about it, but I am not sure how successful they will be even if they do catch him.

@rapture
clock speeds for 280x and expected hashrate per card? Thanks
I believe I was getting about 3.9Kh/s on my 280x's when my rig was online. yacminer --scrypt-chacha --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 8 --buffer-size 2590 -R 5120 -o stratum+tcp://<pool address>:<port> -u <username> -p <password> --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600 ultracoinminer --scrypt-jane --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 8 --thread-concurrency 165760 -I 12 -o stratum+tcp://<pool address>:<port> -u <username> -p <password> --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600
Use the following commands if your system has 4GB of memory and you are getting errors while launching, or cards are "OFF" after the miner starts yacminer --scrypt-chacha --worksize 128 -g 2 --lookup-gap 8 --buffer-size 1295 -R 2560 -o stratum+tcp://<pool address>:<port> -u <username> -p <password> --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600 ultracoinminer --scrypt-jane --worksize 128 -g 2 --lookup-gap 8 --thread-concurrency 82880 -I 11 -o stratum+tcp://<pool address>:<port> -u <username> -p <password> --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600

I have had a few people ask how do you mine Ultracoin? For every person that asks, there are one hundred who don't. I think it is important to create a guide on how to start mining, as beginners who are interested will simply move on to another coin. Luckily for us, Ultracoin is generally very easy to mine with the proper drivers and settings in place. If someone would like to make a quick, in-depth guide on how to begin mining Ultracoin from scratch we will provide a 2,000UTC bounty. Basic steps like this can make a large difference for a coin.
And thank you all for the kind words! Positive feedback like that is what keeps me going
Sincerely,
Steven "Rapture" PR & Marketing Director Steven@Ultracoin.net
Steven had a good night. Wrote you a letter.

Yes it works, but you need to have the newest wallet (v 1.0.4.1), enable stake minting and have mature coins of course (I believe you need to keep coins in wallet for at least two weeks, I'm not sure, somebody correct me if I'm wrong).

Ok ppl! We need more miners to come to the multipool http://multi.tumblingblock.com/ ! I have now set-up my rigs for the x11 algo and heres the steps needed. I guess like a lot of other users here I have only been mining UTC directly and have not updated myself in the ways of mining x11 algo. Note: For ATI cards. Step 1) go here and download the newest SGminer: https://www.nicehash.com/software/sgminer-5.0-badman74-mod-win32.zipStep 2) Make sure you have a new version of catalyst drivers. I heard that the verision 14.7 is the best which is also the one I am using. step 3) Configure your .bat file. This is my settings: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe --algorithm darkcoin-mod -o stratum+tcp://multi2.tumblingblock.com:5000 -u <your wallet address> -p x -w 128 -g 2 -I 17 Open the file: It gives me 4.11 Mhash/s per r9 280x card, I heard some get more around 4.2Mhash to 4.4Mhash. Useful links for help: http://wiki.darkcoin.eu/wiki/Mining_Darkcoin <-------------------Darkcoin mining wiki https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.2040 <------------ SGminer official thread. Come and join the fun in the multipool !

edit. 17cards running with 64.47Kh, pool showing 30-35, WU at the miner also around 30-35.
