I don't think it's possible to delete address, but you can create a new wallet and transfer coins to that; also try exporting and importing private keys.

Just as reminder: If you do that first make a backup of old wallet and save it on another location or stick.
Than delete old wallet. Download new wallet and add backupfile in new roamingmap. RIGHT?

Other option is send all coins to an exchange wallet.
Delete own wallet. Download new one and send all coins back to new walletaddress. RIGHT?

If you change your walletaddress and you are participate the Proof of Interest remember to inform me so I can adjust the list.

thanks for your anwsers but i knew it can't be done, but i have 1 wallet more on a other computer i sent all my coins to that adres.
wait a little time and sent them back to 1 adres look if that gonne work.
wait for the blockchain have my wright amount for my adres, and not split into 2 adresses

you must say it is strange that you can easy make a new one but can not delete one

thanks for your anwsers but i knew it can't be done, but i have 1 wallet more on a other computer i sent all my coins to that adres.
wait a little time and sent them back to 1 adres look if that gonne work.
wait for the blockchain have my wright amount for my adres, and not split into 2 adresses

you must say it is strange that you can easy make a new one but can not delete one

Sending all your coins to another wallet and then sending them all back again will certainly be effective for the purposes of POS staking in the original wallet. However, you do not need to go to that much trouble. In the original wallet, simply create a new receiving address and call it something like "Staking" for reference. All you have to do after that is send all your coins to yourself on that new receiving address. That will save time and trouble. You will only have to do that every 30 days.

I have just been looking at the mining pool stats. Now I wish I had not done so.

Total hashrate well above 45 Mh/s. That is way too much. I look around the pools to see that a few dinosaurs have returned with 5+ Mh/s and the like.

Oh well ... back to 2 XMG per block then sometime later today. Thanks guys. That is so really community-spirited of you. Grab what you can while you can eh? Leave us with some dust eh?

Edit: Taking a closer look, I see the dinosaurs have not mined a single block for over an hour. I have totally mixed feelings about that.

i dit make one extra adres in my wallet, but know my amount are split between these 2 adresss and i can't put all my xmg onto 1 adres no mather what i do.
thats is my reson to delete one adres, i dont wanne have 2 adresses in 1 wallet anymore
because the POI want to see only one adres.
but if i sent ALL my coins in one time to the new adres it wil not split between these 2 adresses?

You made a great info site.
As th3.r00t already said if a member of the Proof of Interest campaign would like to use his address also on this great Proof of Interest service-website send me a pm.
Trust is very important in this cryptoworld. People trusted me with their addresses to keep them private. So i only will ask th3.r00t to add them after  i received a pm message or post here telling me that iám allowed to do that.

yeah, I don't think it work well at the moment, I put the coins into one address, but to do that I had to send the coins to an exchange and send them back to my wallet...

Also I can't send all the coin at a time, which make the sending from and to a wallet address rather sketchy since you don't know what coins are sent.
Can we have the pos advanced option in the wallet, so we can select which coin are sent ?


Another problem is I didn't see any staking (at all) from the main address (which hold most of the coin) since I put them all in one address...

I am not happy

... and we don't care....   (the reward has been in the 20's most of the week, so I am not even sure why you are complaining... considering that for the 2 previous weeks the reward was most of the time around 1~2)

No it's ok, all the coins end up showing as being in the very first wallet address that was created when the wallet itself was created. Any new receiving address you create always maps back to the original wallet address. No worries.

When you send coins to one of your own receiving addresses in the same wallet, the transaction shows up as a "Payment to yourself" with the amount of the transaction being the fee paid to put it on the blockchain - the transaction fee.

While we are on the subject of wallet addresses (or at least we were a while back) I noticed that some people have "vanity" addresses for their XMG wallet. One or two clever people have patched the Bitcoin Vanity address code and adapted it for XMG. That's a neat trick. Does anybody have a version for public consumption?

Just a thought ... while you are on that validation page what happens if you refresh the page in your browser? Does that make any difference?
