My wallet is now matching with fairglu's block explorer block number. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/super/So I guess I'm on the right fork now. Hopefully Bittrex will come back online soon. Everyone, please update to latest v3.1 wallet version and re-sync if you are on a different fork to Chainz block explorer. http://www.super-coin.net/Supercoin31.zip(Make a backup copy of your wallet of course just in case) I also re downloaded the wallet and syncing last 5-6 hours, this time it's taking too long. I do not know why, normally it's just sync in 3-4 hours, even after 5-6 hours it will tak 2-3 horus more.

(linked dev's post below) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736705.msg8626279#msg8626279Basically, I kept the supercoin.conf & wallet.dat and deleted the rest. Then copied the blockchain data to the same folder. Launched wallet.

But it's ok because now it's almost done, within 1-2 hours it will fully sync and start stacking coin.

How's the Mac wallet coming? LOL Seriously though, I appreciate all the support the devs have provided. Just hate having to sit on the sidelines and wait.

Hello,
I have updated to the new wallet and downloaded the new blockchain. 2 days ago i bought some coins at bittrex and sended it to my wallet.
Now the transaction is marked as "conflicted" and the coins are missing
What should / can i do?
Thx
Please wait news from us we will solve an issue with fork. Make sure to upgrade latest version of Supercoin. 90 percent of my coins are conflicted! I have also purchased the majority of them before August 27 2014. I am updated to the lasted wallet version and re-synced multiple times and I am missing about 13,000 coins because they're conflicted! I have multiple backups, I also downloaded and copied and pasted the blockchain into my "roaming folder" just like I am supposed to do. By the way I used the Blockchain folder name "Latest" that you uploaded to Mega. I am on the correct blockchain which as of today but according to my transaction history my coins are conflicted! I need help please. you need to update latest wallet and re-sync from scratch (if block explorer and current does not matches) don't use old uploaded chains anymore. after then you need to run repairwallet command in help console this will fix any coins not reached the blockchain.

Just curious here... why do I have to download additional files, copy/erase, etc files into newly released wallets? Is there a reason the wallets arent user friendly by the time investors are ready to use them?

Why the wallet compiled from source code could not sync correctly? The source code is the same as the windows wallet compiled ?

All,
After evaluating the situation, we will most likely not take the new fork of the coin and allow everyone to withdraw on the old fork. We are waiting to hear from the other exchanges on their position.
We are basing our decision on the following:
* dev failed to notify any exchanges of an update * the official block explorer was not updated leaving everyone in the dark * dev provided no plan for aiding those impacted in recovering lost funds
As mentioned earlier, we are waiting to hear from the other exchanges to see where they are at.
Best solution here though is that the dev team make all the exchanges whole for this situation
Thanks richie@bittrex

This whole process is frustrating. I believe in this coin, but why are we expected to modify the wallet in order to use it?

Could the exchanges put some nodes? We synced by the nodes from scratch, so we can have a same fork with the exchanges.

If we want to see the future, that is what dev have to do: 1.Resolve the issue completely, review the code find the problem. 2.Make sure the wallet compiled from the code could run correctly. We know you have a different code between windows wallet and the open source, because of we should protect the new technology of trustless anon system, but it looks that would take some issue. 3.Explain why the fork happened, and promise it will not happen again in future. Or we will over

So from what I can see, the current state is as follows:
0. Dev's new v3.1 wallet = NEW v3.1 fork 1. Chainz block explorer = NEW v3.1 fork 2. Bittrex.com exchange = OLD v3.0 fork (refusing to go to v3.1 fork) 3. Mintpal.com exchange = OLD v3.0 fork (did they even respond?)
We need Supercoindev to make an official statement and also tell us how how we can resolve this issue quickly.

Like we dev team follow the forks its exchanges job to follow forks and act asap.
As in our 5 nodes no fork happened we could not be sure. As soon as we informed from people we released 1.6 fork fix wallet and published in our official thread. we informed people and block explorers about this in this thread. There is not much things we can do about it.
For the future we will more closely follow the matter.
my guess is fork caused by big whale wallet or probably an exchange wallet trying to stake. especially with bad connections it can overload the chain. again we cant do much here.
