Ah, the trolls are here.

Damn good sign, it means good things are ahead.

They are shorting a bit late, let's see how it all pans out.  However, mark my words, if they are all in here, it means they are talking a book that is on the edge of failing.  Or why would they bother?

Shorting Monero is a risky business...  I trust they will find out.

All we're missing is "Quack McDuck"!  Cheesy

Whenever he shows up and starts fudding, there's usually something coming.

Shorting? noMore? This is useless... the waves at noMore are so small... Seriously worst ever altcoin of last year which existed before last bubble. Again man. Look at ppl telling that 2017 will be wonderful for XMR after August 2016 and then watch the BTC price of noMore. BTC made 5x value increase(OR MORE), XMR did 7x while every each other altcoin of mainstream did over 10x and you say that the xmr is promising for next year? You say that this altcoins bubble will last so long? Lasting for almost 2 years and the market being regulated more and more you say that next year will be better than this one? What you are looking is probably LAST burst before something bad watching the infos coming. noMore slept the best time for alts... this year the altcoin burst, the ico emerged. noMore slept...

I SAT in dash Smiley I SAT in ETH I sat in LTC. Full sold off. XMR last promising totaly failed. Even GNO made me... XMR? Total disappointment

For me right now balance is a hard thing.  I think the future is still quite bright for Monero as a cryptocurrency that fills a niche that is not easily going to be replaced by either another coin, or a BTC sidechain.

It is not that other coins cannot offer privacy/fungibility.  It is just that Monero is and is poised to continue to be the CLEAR leader in this arena.

It is not that side chains could not offer private transactions in the BTC realm, but it is the fact that that too has a long way to go before it can replace Monero's functionality, and I am not sure it will ever be able to perfectly.

When we have such a crushing price blow it is hard not to dump a little bit more BTC than I had planned to buy more XMR.  But I am GOING TO STICK TO MY PLAN. Wink

I dont get the point of why monero is going down so fast.. It was more than $150 just one month ago, anyone knows the real reason of why it dropped that much?
It is insane, but i keep asking to myself why did i invested in monero at first, i bought two moneros ( i know it is not much) but i bought them at $120 each one, and now i am in more than 30% of loss with both them.
Maybe i have to wait a little bit more until the alt market corrects again.

Well if you bought any altcoin at the time when monero was $120, you'd be in the same boat as now, as all altcoins are taking punches now that bitcoin is slingshoting back up

man just get out of here.

either you are extremely frustrated because you lost money with monero or you opened a short position and talk your order book.

i start to believe you made losses since you are so stubborn and childish about all this.

but either way i dont think trading is for you.

again. get lost

now since it cant get worse than fudders a la mr duck i might aswell share my contributions to the cryptoworld and do a little advertising here.

i would really appreciate some feedback and even more if people find use for the stuff since i put alot of work into it.

Surely it would have been better if you were -30% with only one of them (sorry, couldn't resist).

My list of 43(+3) reviewed Bitcoin forks | You don't have to download the pre-fork blockchain again for each fork! | Beware of fraudulent AWS accounts sellers and dangerous edu AWS codes! + My personal list of legit sellers and scammers | Never publicly reveal your btc addresses, ownership or any other details and stay very far away from anybody who asks you to! | The general rule of safe buying is: if the seller is a newbie, with no reputation, with no topic nor trust feedback, offering no vouches and/or selling from a locked or self-moderated topic and unwilling to go first or use escrow => AVOID. Always check the trust feedback first and make sure that you have enabled "Show untrusted feedback by default" in "Profile / Forum Profile Information".

First April till 28th September.  No Monero was not the best performing coin. It was in 2016 already. But is in golden average and better then bitcoin with difference from many coins.

Oh any by the way. Monero today ofcourse gained rank on coinmarketcap. was rank.10 for days, now is rank.9 again.

It helps a great deal if one is able to stop comparing Monero's price to others and wishing it had performed as well as others. The fact is, Monero's ROI for the year in USD is 529%. In any other market that would be unbelievable. In the crypto world it's cause for complaint.

Gore Vidal once wrote: "It is not enough to do well, others must do badly." Let's try and not be guilty of this particular character flaw. Monero has done more than well this year. Let's be happy with that.

There are a few trolls sure but are there ENOUGH trolls yet to positively call the bottom?

Well, there's at least one persistent (lying) one that seems to be getting frutsrated we are not takig him seriously.  We must be at least 'almost there' in Troll Positive Indicator terms.

Yeah everyone who bought their coin at the top are on loss right now and that is because of bitcoin price skyrocketing. If you can't take the loss you are getting then its better for you not to trade but if you bought monero for long term hold then you don't need to worry about the price right now.

If you don´t have the stomach to take losses the very first and good thing to do is not trade at all. Can put the Money on a portuguese bank, they will gladly take it for less than 1% yearly. The second and less radical stuff is get into coins you believe for long term. if the trade goes wrong you get a bag of something you like. If people can´t take a loss and bet on stuff they don´t believe... I would have a name to call, but i´ll refrain from doing so..
