Hey, guys... HELP!!!

My account here "KeyJockey" was hacked apparently and the scumbag changed both the Secret Question reset AND my email address... so I can't get back in

I don't have a bitcoin address or PGP Key on it either, unfortunately which I gather may be required for Theymos to restore my access... BUT REALLY I only post in THIS THREAD most often AND my old email that was on the account was also named with KeyJockey... So REALLY it's ME here

SMOOTH or another mod/admin: can anything be done to help me get my account back??

Actually I *DO* still have access and control of the ORIGINAL email account that "KeyJockey" here was set up with 4 years ago. And I can say WHEN the hack happened (ie which of my last posts were real, were MINE, and what IP ADDRESS they likely came from (and when the hackers IP for his posts under my name likely CHANGED)...

Lots of easy ways, I think, to PROVE that I was hacked and deserve to have the account restored to ME...

BUT unfortunately I can't find WHO or WHERE to ask for this HELP

Are sub-forum Admins or Moderators able to fix stuff like this OR only Theymos himself? The "top man" alone able to send a password reset link to an accounts ORIGINAL email maybe, after an improper change hack like this....?

OR really, what should I be trying to do here?  BtcTalk setup for support is terrible

Edit__-- looks like of you ever posted a BTC address and you still have your priv key for that address you can sign a message with that address and make a note of the link and send that to the mods in that post.

Someone else told me their account got hacked too, they thought maybe due to db breach in 2014 or 2015, cause they never reset their pw afterwards.

ok. about price.. my speculation is that possibility  of rise is slightly higher than to fall..
we should  rise in particular in terms of btc, monero should have greater share in the market, otherwise without proper liquidity it could be a little useless..

Isn't there a way to do this exact thing with a Monero wallet?  Why sign a message from a wallet that you wouldn't want to put any BTC in in order to not display how much BTC you currently are in possession of?

This being speculation, I infer:  linkin87 means to ask when he can sell without taking a loss.  I will (worthlessly) speculate: Sometime this month.  Place a limit order if you can wait that long.  If you can wait until March, place the limit nearer to twice that.  If you can wait 10 years, don't place a limit order, because you will almost certainly place it too low, by orders of magnitude.

Yes indeed and frankly seems to me no matter how much 'interesting times' we've had already these last years since bitcoin was born almost 9 years ago now (Halloween Birthday coming up, for Satoshi posting the white paper) I have the distinct impression that we ain't seen nuthin' yet, boys : it's probably gonna get a lot more and more interesting-er, from here on out.

Did you changed password a year or so ago when we were asked to because of some hack?  Or did you find what was the reason if that was not the case.

Seriously I THOUGHT that I DID (usually pretty good about keeping on top of things like this) and a thorough review of ALL my computers and accounts this weekend after this little unpleasantness has not turned up ANY other breach or compromise (thank god)... so at the moment I'm still unsure what the attack vector actually WAS   

I can only assume maybe I did not actually "get around to it" and perhaps the password WAS still unchanged... and someone on the dark net finally got around to selling MY login from the database hack a year ago. 

At least I hope that's all it is.

You can sell it right now, although I have a feeling you’re talking about selling it with a profit.

Nobody can tell you when the price is going to rise (if they could then they’d be rich, and he or she probably wouldn’t tell anybody anyway), but with Monero I can expect it to rise at some point in the coming months (but again, that’s just my guess).
